I have positive remarks about college as it helped me to grow-up as a student and nurtured my abilities, say, technical or social. I will definitely recommend Sardar Patel Institute of Technology to all students who are aspiring to be an engineer.

Course curriculum is remarkable thing in Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. They offer Computer engineering, Information Technology, Electronics engineering, Electronics and telecommunication engineering and MCA.

Many of the companies come for internship in SPIT like Credit Suisse, Barclays, etc. They provide internship for around, say, 3 months with a stipend of around 25000/-. Some of these companies also provide PPO to the students who have already worked as intern in their companies.

Talking about placements and Job opportunities SPIT is well-known for it. Previously students have got placed in reputed and well-known companies like JP morgen, Morgen Stanley, Delloite India, Credit Suisse, Barclays, etc.

College celebrates its technical event called as "MATRIX" after college reopening in month of Aug-sept. Cultural and sports festival takes place in the month of February. College has its own cultural fest called "UDAAN" which gives opportunity to every 3rd year student to have managerial experience by organizing many events or work in some department like security, hospitality, etc.

Fee Structure is reasonable as is the case of every other college. You get different scholarships like JRD Tata, Government scholarships, etc. For OBC students they have concession of upto 45% in annular fees.

I know about government scholarship offered to OBC students based on the annular income of their families and availed after submitting required documents in office like Non-creamy layer certificate, Income certificate, etc.

College supports for extracurricular activities like any out-of-the-box events taking place in college. College have very good laboratory facilities run by lab assistants who are again very knowledgeable. College also have sports room where you can play in lunch time or after the college time or any time with required permission from respective staff.

College does not provide any hostel facilities but you can easily get other options like paying guest or so in the vicinity of the college. You can also apply for SPCE hostel facility which is in college campus only though I am not very sure about it.

Senior students and alumni are very supportive in each and every aspect. The are very helpful in terms of career guidance and all other facts. On first day of college itself they will tell you each and everything related to college. That is all I know about them.

Since the college has got autonomy in 2 years back exam structure has changed. Previously we used to have 2 unit tests, each of 20 marks followed by end semester examination. Now they take only one mid term test comprising of 40 marks followed by end semester examination.

I got admission in this college on the basis of entrance exam for engineering course called MHT-CET. They also consider the other entrance exams like IIT-JEE for admission. You must get very good score in these exams to get admission in SPIT.

Faculty of the college is helpful except some professors as is the case in every college. Some professors have got really good teaching skills and are very knowledgeable in their respective field. They can also direct and assist you on your career as well as consult on ongoing industrial development.
