Course Curriculum Overview

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 10322 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for my BA Hons Social Sciences Sociology is ?10,322 . This fees includes all the tution fees development fees . There is no any lab fees included as my course doesn't need any lab activity. The development fees is the part in that total ?10,322.

Campus Life

I had a very good experience in my college. My colleagues are also up to date in every matters so I enjoy to be with them . My college oragnises a lot of skill development functions in which the best was our freshers party. The college has a very big library and contains books for almost every course present in the college. The library also have a large number of literature books and a news library. There are a lot of students group in my college. I'm also in the arya society which aims for the well being of the new comers. Sports day is organized on a yearly basis .

Admission

My college is an affiliated college of BHU . I wanted to be in the main campus of BHU but due to low marks and large number of applicants I had to take admission in this college. But after reaching this college I realised that the faculties here are very supportive so I liked the course and I'm doing well .

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio of my college is well maintained. The teachers are good in numbers for all the students . I mostly like my sociology professor Mr Mrityunjay Singh. in every semester the sessional exams are conducted before the main exam.

Night Life

The night life arround the college is phenomenal. We use to hangout at the cafe and have tea almost every evening. The best place near my college to hangout is the ganga ghats of Varanasi and the kaashi vishwanath temple. The night walk around the ghaats are fantastic .

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Remarks:

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Studying B.Sc. Statistics at BHU: An indepth Personal Review

Basically My college is just 170 KM from my home and the other college I applied for the same course was Delhi University which was like more than 800 KM from my home.
