Great Teachers and Way they are Teaching
Equal number Of Boys and Girls in my class.

The Payyanur campus doesnt have any entertainment
Doesnt have any sport activites and Programmes
The Infrastructure Is Vast but doesnt have any places to be free and have leisure

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is excellent but is little hard to cope of u r not interested in it.. There are lot of seminars and also a great curriculum and syllabus having many Gis specialization than any other uNIVERISTY in kerala

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My Course is Msc Geography. So my first sem fee is 9500rs including the caution deposit and other fees and each sem fee is also the same. I didnt opt for a hostel. I didnt take any scholarship but if u have egrantz u can opt for it.

Campus Life

My Overall College experience is avergae as it doesn not have any leisure spaces and enternatiment, programmes, spot activities etc.. But its mainly studies focused. It have great facilities and also many equipments for lab and field studies

Admission

I applied for calicut univeristy, delhi unv, kerala univ and also kannur unv.. But i got the admission in kannur.. I didnt get any rejection. But i chose kannur over other universitues. Admissions are entrance exan based

Faculty

Faculty are good and educated.. Teaching ways are very good. There are internals and also sem exam. Students got all pass in my 3 sems. Have good friends in my college and also all the tecahera are in friendly manner.

Night Life

There is no nightlife in the campus.. But i took a hostel outside the college so i can enjoy myself. There is no hostel in the campus, Good library and 5 other dept including mine. Outside the college u have limited locality's to have relax times

I choosed to study msc applied psychology in kerala university. Because it offers my interested specialization ( organizational behaviour) . The course provides three specializations - clinical , industrial and educational. As it is applied psychology it equipes us to become more practical.I wish the placement cell to be more efficient in our university. Because the placements they offers are limited

Placement Experience:

As I mentioned above they have only limited amount of placement for my courses which they provide many start ups which can be choosed for just an experience or just for an starting job but other wise it not much good

This course have more oppurtunities in the present time as the data is increasing day by day and we are dealing with data. So we have more oppurtinities than any others. We have a special post in every fields. Course is doing only theory build up and less in concentrating the practical application side of the theory we have studied.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).

I choosed this college because it was near to my home so maybe one can say that i took it because of convinence but after studying there i understood that it was my best option like it's so good studying there. I applied to sirsyed college S. N college SES college but due to my less mark i didn't got admission there.
