Remarks

Coming to the remarks, the college has a perfect balance in everything. Well disciplined with a good infrastructure, the college has mostly all the facilities and services which are necessary to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer labs with fast internet connectivity and power backup.

BSc(computer science) is a very interesting and useful course nowadays, it is having a duration of 3 years. Exam pattern is the semester wise where an end semester exam is taken every 6 months. The course curriculum covers all the subjects related to computer science such as basic fundamentals of computers to database systems & advanced courses like C++, Java, etc.

Placement Experience

The career guidance and placement cell present in the college is very active which motivates students and provides proper guidance to the students about the career. This cell organizes seminars about communicative skills, group discussions, and personal interviews. It provides training about the working and functioning of the new software so students can get the best placement opportunities.

FORFEST, BDU FEST, FAME '12, SPRINGS 2K12, NATIONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL, CLASSIC FE(A)ST, SPRINGS 2K13, SADHANA 14, TAMIL ISAI SANGAM, SUVADUGAL, EXOTICA - 2015, EERAM 2014 were the main events organized by the college cultural team.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college has a feasible fee structure according to me as it charges around 17K rupees for the first year, for the second year it charges around rupees 15.6K and the same for the third year.

Campus Life

Our campus has an anti-ragging cell for stopping the ragging in the college, An Entrepreneurial Development Cell which motivates students to be "Job creators rather than Job Seekers" , NSS and NCC division for teaching about the values, social services and serving the nation.

Admission

Admission is based on the interview taken by the admission counseling team present in the college. First I applied by filling the form which I had received through the post and sent it to the principal, Cauvery College for Women, Annamalai Nagar, Trichy-620 018 as soon as I see the result of 10+2.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester, itselft students get to know about the placement training and pre placements talks were held to students who is interested in the placement. They will undergo aptitude, programming and soft skills training. So the companies visiting our colleges are service-based companies which are accenture , TCS, Deloitte and product based companies such as Zoho hiring for 6-10 LPA. Accenture offers a package of 3.4 LPA where as Fractal Analysis company offers a package of above 10 LPA The placed students in my department is 70% which is a big number if the training is effective there will be more than 80%students will get placed.
