Unveiling Campus Vibes: A Student's Perspective

There are some areas to be improved in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods such as teachers should focus on teaching not on providing notes to the students. The frequency and timing of exams in the college is quite accurate in perspective on their difficulty level. Semester exam duration is 6 months with 2 unit tests in each semester. The exam level is moderate but for passing the semester you need to study nicely. The curriculum prepares you very well for real- works applications.

There are various companies that comes to our college for the internships, the most recent ones were the "Onward" which came for HR human resource provided a stipend of 5000 per month. Most of the companies which comes for the internship generally required for the HR.

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24×7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement.

My college you has been divided in total of 6 semesters out of which each year contains two semesters the fees for semester 1 is 35000 semester 2 is 31000. The admission or you can see the registration fees 1000 rupees . There is no particular scholarship present in our college.

The college library is a bit quite small, it does not have enough books and we cannot go in a regularly every stream has been allotted various days in a week in which they can visit the library. There are various fest that are held in our college during various parts of the time there is no specific timing of any fest they are planned by the college administration sum of them includes the Techfest The classrooms in our college are very advanced, all the classrooms are equipped with cctv cameras and smart boards for teachers to teach. There is always annual athletics meet which has various athletic events like 100 m races, javelin throw events, short put events which is held in the month of November. There is one thing that our college lacks is student union group it does not exist in our college there are no such things like student groups or student portal.

Hot and Cold drinking water, 24 hours electricity, Guiser for winter seasons are provided in the hostel. Almirah, Bed and Study table are the facilities provided in the room. Decent meal quality with different menus everyday. Menu for 15 days are provided in advance. Hostel capacity is of 150 students. First 150 students who are in need of hostel are given. I also lives in college hostel. The registration process of the hostel is quite easy as well you just need to go to the administrative block of the college and contact for the registration in the hostel once you pay the fees of the hostel you instantly get alloted a room if they are available. If I try to rent a room or PG there are various facilities available around the college within the parameter of 1 to 2 km.

I had applied on different colleges for admission such as BBD, Lucknow and Doon Business School, Dehradun but this our National PG College provides best quality in less fees. You need to pass the entrance exam for admission in this college. The infrastructure of the college as well as class is good. AC and Smart boards are available in each and every class. I didn't get a rejection from other colleges but the reason I didn't make there was the getting best quality in my capital city. You are eligible for the admission in this college if you paas your 10th and 12th board exams with good percentage. You also need to pass the entrance for admission in this college. The overall admission experience of the college is great since everything goes in fluent way.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. The faculties of the college are humble and always provides guidance. Faculties are always ready to solve the doubts. Nidhi mam (HOD- Department of Management), Sonal Mam, Deepak sir are the best faculties. The main reason to like them is their humbleness towards everyone There are 2 semester exams in each year with Unit Tests each month which helps the students to maintain proper CGPA. Assignments and Project Works needs to be completed on the given time. The Department organises motivational programmes and also provides knowledge for their best possible future.

The campus timing may vary according to the course and semester. Hostel timing for boys are 6 am to 9:30 pm and hostel is 800 m away from the college. The nightlife is a bit boring because college is such a small that we can not spent our time while going here and there. Malls and riverside of the Gomtinagar River which is 1 km away from the college and 200 m away from hostel is the best hangout places. The locality is very safe to roam around at night because the college is in the city. Riverfront is the main public area for college students which closes at 8pm and opens at 6 am. The hostel is very strict.
