- Infrastructure is of next level (awsome) ,, university is so large you have all the facilities that you might have thinked for your dream college.
- Every department have there separate library. And two Libarary named Tagore which is basically a huge reading hall here u can access numerous books nd other is cyber Library where nearly 500 PC's are given for students..
- Very beautiful environment and there faculty are awesome,, Campus is truly ragging free,, hostels are provided on the bases of your entrance exams nd further on academics criteria .. cultural programmes and extra activities are held regularly
Dislikes
- An yearly Sports culture is organised only for hostlers for day schollers limited chances are in sports..but if you have to play only for fun u can play daily.
- Most of the canteens are near and cles yet u can feel some dirtyness in few of them
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically I opted chemistry and maths in my major subjects and physics as a minor. I am quite good in chemistry so wanted to pursue graduate and then do masters in the subject.. Exams held regularly times may vary... Some department offers mid sem exams while others don't.. Odd semester are subjective and even one's are objective.. If u have to work hard itself,, university will provide u resources but u have to doi it itself
Fees and Financial Aid
1.Fee is very affordable nearly 6 thousand per semester including tution and development fee. 2. Fee may vary according to your subject and there practicals but it is yet affordable. 3. As university is ruled by state government Hence up schollership is available for all, You have to maintain minimum 75% criteria to avail the scholarship. 4. Every year u can avail 100 % schollership if u have proper documentation and 75% attendance. 5. No merit is needed in schollership. 6. University also provide relaxation for depressed classes or economic weaker Students..
Campus Life
I am enjoying it,, lot's to learn there , crowd is awesome,, maximum students are from up but brom different districts and You can also see many foreigners who are performing there ug and pg .. Infrastructure is amazing a fully furnished and it feels like a monumental as it is 100 years old university infrastructure is defined as in old style.. especially arts block.. There is several independence clubs and few are famous like nss and others are regarding poetry dance nukkaad natak etc.... Cultureal activities held regularly.. If u success in getting good friends circle then I can enjoy your college life as you expected
Admission
My first priority was DU , but when I know about LU then I thought it will also be a good choice..delhi is to far for me and very expensive At the same lu provides me a good college experience and there is lots to learn...and yess it is also a government University that's why u can avail all the facilities provided by the government
Faculty
Faculties are awesome...but yet they few of them sometimes shows laziness in there work .. Sometimes students have to organise protest for Few of them ,, but most of them are very good My favourite faculty is faculty of chemistry.. They always do there work properly and on time.. There professor are awesome,, few of thems are from IITs
Night Life
You can see several Canteens running here, and there food is amazing and affordable.. A gym is also given here which is free for campus students but if you are a day scholler then you have to college in morning from whether you are living. Several Hostels white different names are given . University is placed in decent location many hangout places you can find nearby.. A metro station is given to university so you can enjoy the easy and fast transportation
