The Course Curriculum is in terms with the syllabus that has been prescribed by the UGC. It covers all the topics and starts from the basics with its difficulty increasing by and by. The syllabus itself helps you prepare for various qualifying tests after graduation.

The university does provide internships in various departments such as the biotechnology, mechanical, polytechnic and civil under the best tutors with acceptable terms of knowledge. The minimum stipend is 20k and may exceed as the per the potential an individual holds.

The best part before the end of the course is placement and job opportunities. Every year, about 2000 students get placed in 64 top MNCs from all over the nation. The placements usually begin from the starting of the final year and may go on till the very last day at the campus. The average package is 5lacs per annum.

Every month is a festival at the college. From organising national level school competitions to mob flashes, the college has also been divided into clubs where a student can enroll himself or herself to boost their overall growth and performance.

The fee structure of the university is quite affordable. The university offers a number of courses such as Bachelors of technology in the field of CS, EE, ECE, ME and CE which range from 4- 5 lacs per course. MBA can cost upto 4 lacs and B.Com, B.B.A, B.Sc, B.ed.can mount upto 3 lacs. The polytechnic courses vary as per the time duration.

The university also provides scholarships to the students who are financially weak. Each year a number of students enroll for this scholarship and avail the benefits of it. The scholarship applications release in the month of september, to avail this all you have to do is fill out the application form and attach the required documents.

The Sports club of the university encourages the students to play games as per their own specific interests. It also organises a state college level fest called Maitree each year. The poetry club and literary club organise competitions such as debate, kavi samelan. Flash Mobs, Dandiya nights are some of the major night fests organised. The labs of each department are well equipped with the machinery and instruments as per the requirements

The hostel infrastructure is actually great. There are separate hostels for girls and boys with 2 wardens for each building. Each hostel building also houses a mini cafeteria, green grounds and gymnasium area. The rooms are well- maintained with suitable facilities for the students.

The Alumni network is really strong at the university. It controls the convocation and the alumni meet which serves as a great platform to meet the old buds from college. The senior students are worth the tag 'SENIOR'. Interactive, helpful, amiable and hearty are the words for them. The campus is a NO Ragging tolerance zone. Each year is divided into two semesters and each semester comprises of 3 terms:- First term, Mid term and the End term. The first and the second mid term each constitute of 15 marks and the end term totals to 30 marks according to the new pattern. The end term also includes marks from practicals, assignments, attendance and behavioral assessment.

The admission process is quite simple. All that needs to be done is to register yourself for the GLAET (GLA Entrance Test), qualify it. Grab a copy of the results and fill out the application form and attach the results to it, submit them at the admission counter and wait for the merit list. In case there is a direct admission, skip the waiting for the merit list and get your admission confirmed. Do not forget to carry all the required documents, passport sized photographs and an affidavit for the disciplinary department.
