Remarks
The college is located near the station. It takes 20 mins to reach the college by walking and if you book a cab you will be charged 20 rupees. But the roads are covered with green trees so walking through will be a good choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent. We used to have only 5 subjects every semester but the syllabus was advanced. We had the subjects which M-com students of Mumbai University used to study. 90% of those subjects are also taught in MBA first semester.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides the internship. The stipend ranges from ten thousand to twenty thousand. The jobs include sales job, accounting job and Finance job. Many interviews are held in the campus and outside the campus.
Placement Experience
I didn't go for the placements provided by the college as I am pursuing MBA now. But as per my friends' reviews about their jobs, they are satisfied with the job and the stipend and also they see a growth in the same field.
College Events
The college organizes many events like dance competition, singing competition, best out of waste competition, rangoli competition, etc. Sports are also played every year in the college ground. Teachers also participate in sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible. As compared to BCOM it is expensive but it also gives extra learning with extra benefits. In BCOM one cannot learn the advanced subjects but in BAFI, we learn the advanced level of Accounts, Finance and Insurance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college provides scholarship to the students who are good in academics. No loan facilities are available as the fees amount is feasible. In case, a student cannot pay the fees in lump sum she can pay the fees in instalments.
Campus Life
We have library in the third floor of the old building. The library has many books which are related to the course. Also there are many Novels (fictional and non fictional) which can enhance reading and vocabulary of the students.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel facilities are available as the nearby localites are more in the number. Some students travel from far away stations like Badlapur. Kalyan, Mahalaxmi, etc but they don't need the hostel facility as they can travel daily.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong. The alumnis are placed in good companies and they keep growing. Despite being the ex students, seniors are always ready to help the Juniors. Seniors are very helpful.
Exam Structure
The course is divided into six semesters. The internal examination carry 25 marks whereas the external examination carry 75 marks. One paper is of 100 marks. In case, a student a fails in the exam, she has to pay 500 rupees and reappear for the exam.
Admission
After clearing HSC exams, I applied for the online procedure. As my percentage was below 70 I also started applying for colleges offline. I visited the college and filled the joining form. I completed all the formalities, paid the fees and got the admission done.
Faculty
The faculties were really good. They used to put all the necessary efforts that will enhance a students performance in academics as well as which will help a student grow as a person. Many guest lectures were also arranged.
