Remarks
Faculties should be more supportive in building their students future. they should come on time to class and complete the portions in advance. Extracurricular activities should be there. College provides full freedom for students to showcase their talents
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is not for spoon feeders because you will have to learn by yourself. there won't be much notes. everything you will have to learn on your own experiences. Never expect anything high. Fees is comparatively high compared to other colleges
Internships Opportunities
Yes there is internship in the end of the second semester and in the starting of the fourth semester. currently I'm doing my first year on this course. so I haven't been on internship. I will be doing it shortly once my second semester gets over ,that is during the months of may
Placement Experience
You will have to give your best on where you are going for internship and get many contacts. through this you can get placements and job opportunities. You will be given placements according to your capability because this course is something where you have to work with no fear and think out of the box
College Events
In the starting as soon the college reopened. there is an event called aarambh maithri which is specially for the Freshers. the program is for continuous two days. there will be stalls ( food, beverage, clothes) and on stage event going.m the next event is ed bazaar which is especially for the students entrepreneurship. Students will run their own stall including food, cosmetics, dress etc. Then the most awaiting srishti where other college students are being invited for srishti.it's a famous cultural program in college
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive compared to other colleges and courses. the term fee for first semester is 20000 for 5 months. totally there is four semester which means 4 term fee should be paid. I feel like of they reduce the fee , it would be better
Fees and Financial Aid
To be frank, I don't think there is any loan facility or scholarship is Available. students who study in this college are mostly from a middle class and upper middle class family. Students from lower middle class family do their students in day college,( morning shift) where fees is low
Campus Life
There is no extra curricular activities for post graduate students but I think if the students are interested in sports , they can talk to the respect teachers. I suggest that there should be separate hour for the extracurricular activities
Hostel Facilities
I'm not an hostalite. but still whenever I go library or cross through the main block. I see the college hostel. food is being provided in a mess. and the structure of the hostel is good but there is water scarcity in the college. hostel students are carrying buckets and doing their everyday routine need
Alumni/Alumna
Yes of course. alumni students are invited by our staffs to share their experiences on their everyday life and their job. by listening to their advice , we can get a clear picture of what we should do and how we should do. They give seminars and interactive sessions where we can talk to each other and share our ideas
Exam Structure
Yeah the exam structure is quite good.exams are conducted twice in a year, first semester and second semester. There are three theory papers and two practical papers. There are holidays in-between the exams to get good preparation time.
Admission
I went to the college directly and searched for this group but students of that college itself was not aware that journalism group exits. I searched and finally reached the department of journalism. The staff checked my marksheets and had a light interview. Then she instructed me to get the form, fill it up and pay the fee
Faculty
They are supportive. They tend to teach us to stand on our own feet rather than depending on them or others. They always sends you to other colleges and for outside programs where you will get experience and exposure
