School of Information Technology, RGPV, BHOPAL

My course is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.And in recent time AI is booming, so I was ready to take this course way before. And luckily I got it also.The curriculm inludes the courses like Data Structures Algorithm, Python, Deep Learning etc. which are based on real life applications.There are actually some areas where improvements is required ie; In Exam Pattern and some irrevelant courses such as Mathematics which should be removed.The difficulty level of exam is normal.

Companies comes on a regular bases for internships.They offer variety of roles for students, such as Marketing Intern, Web developers, App developers, Data Analytics,etc..You need to complete tasks or projects to clarify the tasks.Till now I can't say anything because I am a 3rd semester student, and haven't made many projects.

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible to get campus placements.The most companies which visits the campus are Infosys, TCS, stc.. Apart from this thier is Wipro, Amazon, also visits the campus. Highest and lowest package offered are 50lpa and 1.2lpa respectively.70 percent students on an average gets placed every year. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in an MNC.

School of Information Technology has a fee structure of 50000(approx.)Rs per year.Tution fees is 20000Rs, Registration and Admission and development fees is 1000Rs.And Development,Lab Fees is Includes in Tution fees.Hostel fees is 5000(approx.). For SC/ST Categories there is Zero Tution Fees,only hostel fees that is 5000Rs.They do get Scholarships in which Thier Hostel fees also get near about zero.

To be very honest fests don't happen in our colleges. But from this year our college is trying to plan fests.Their are plenty of books in the library related related to academics, fictions non-fictions etc.Sports and extracurricular activities happens very often.

I applied for many government colleges like NITs, State Government Colleges, but was unable to make it through them, Because my percentile was not upto the mark. So according to my percentile I got into this college.The Admission process of the college is very simple, you just need some documents to get verified like Bonafide certificate, Migration certificate, 10th, 12th marksheet,etc...The eligibility exam is JEE MAINS.

The faculty to student ratio is good. Faculty to student relationship is very good enough, and the faculties are approachable also.I would like to mention Tuhin Shukla ma'am whom I like the most because of her way of teaching and helpful nature.The best faculties in SOIT, RGPV are as follows according to me:- Tuhin Shukla Ma'am, Mahendra Ahirwar Sir,Jeetendra Sir Agrawal Sir,MSP Sir. I like each and every teacher. There are 8 exams in 4 year degree. Each exam in each semester.2 exams in 1 year.Each Semester includes 2 mid semester exams carrying 20 marks, and End semester exams which carry 70 marks.Apart from this, we have assignments and all.On an average out of 80 students in the class 10 students are unable to clear one of the papers.To be very honest, Course curriculum lags behind the practical world where students will be trained.

Their is a gym only in 1 hostel out of 4 hostels.Their is Amul shop, people say it cafeteria and also thier is public area.Hostel timings are, it opens at 6 am and closes at 10pm.Campus timings start at 10am in the morning and ends at 6pm at the evening. The best hangouts places in the campus are basket ball court, cafeteria, and a hilly area situated in the college.
