I did a bachelor's degree in geography stream which was a 3 years degree course that covers subjects like Geomorphology, Hydrology, Climatology, Nature of Geography, social and economic geography, etc. The course has a very well scope in the field of urban and regional planning, city planning, town planning, etc.

Placement will not be an issue if you are performing well in academics and extracurricular activities. Although the college doesn't have any placement cell, the faculty members of the college give advice and counseling about the further career choices as well as provide references for jobs.

Extracurricular activities are very important for the overall growth of a student and every college should have space for extracurricular activities in between the academics so our college also has that space and it organizes events and seminars from time to time to develop communication and personalities of a student by the participation of them. The college organizes annual sports event, various indoor and outdoor games.

Those college use to be always good which use to have the lowest fee structure as they fulfill the dreams of even the poor and financially weaker students fro the higher studies so does our college do charging the nominal fee as the whole course fee is around 3000 for the whole 3 years course that can be paid on yearly installment.

Almost every college of the West Bengal provides the scholarship which comes from the government. Our college also have facilities of scholarship and freeship for the students from a financial background and the meritorious one. Apart from this scholarship and freeship is also available from D.P.I. of W.B., W.B. Minority Fin. Dev. Corporation and S.C.S.T Welfare Dept., of Mass Education.

Campus life uses to be precious for all the college-goers as they learn many new things from their friends, staff and from the faculty members which helps them in their real-life so it was same for me too. I had made many friends who are still in touch with me. College provides all the facilities, labs and staff provide assistance and help us in completing our degree in a healthy way.

College accepts admission by the online admission process. I had been looking for the colleges in my area which would have the low fee structure and facilities then I came to know about this college and I applied by visiting the college website and filling the admission form given on the website itself. Finally, I took the printout of the application with challan form and deposited the challan fee and submitted the form and challan copy to the admission desk of the college and received an acknowledgement.
