Medical College of Gujarat

The cource curriculum is designed by NMC National medical council . The curriculum is designed to good for our profession . The exams are sometimes so hard to just pass also . I think clinical posting is best things for learning.

We have general hospital associated with our college so we should have internship for 11 months in this hospital after 4.5 years of course. Than we have 2 options for get government job we can give GPSC exam for medical officer or we can go for Master degree through Neet PG exam .

I have 4.5 year cource for which I will pay total 30,82,500 rupees . For one year fees is 6,85,500 rupees and for one sem means 6 months it is 3,42,500 rupees. I personally do not have any scholarship but my batchmates have scholarship like MYSY CMSS . Also for SC ST students have freeshipcard option. For management quota students fees is high like 18 lakhs per year . From batch 2024-2025 fees is increased also.

We have fresher party for new students . We also had sports events . We had two college function name as glitz and glitz2.0 .In library mostly all books are available. Classroom is not so good .there is no extracurricular activities.

We got 3 sharing small room . Meal quality is not good in hostel . We have to register for hostel we have fees 1 lakh per year for hostel . Our college recently not have hostel but they provide us accommodation in different area of city in hotels in society also .

I chose this college for fees structure I can afford . The others college is better than it but also fees is higher . I applied many college like GMERs NHl Adani bhuj SMC Amreli . I get admission in SMC Amreli also but I chose this because of good faculty and teaching. For admission we need to go through admission process based on neet score .

There are 3 to 6 faculty for each subjects . The faculty are friendly and helpful for study . For my cource we have 2 internal assessment exams 1 prelims and 1 university exam . The Internal assesment exams and prelims exams are taken by college but university exam is taken by Veer narmad South gujarat university.

There is no group discussion or any interview. For admission we need to do neet exam clear with cutt off also . Admission process is based on neet exam marks and admission criteria is managed by government of Gujarat and national medical council.

After day college students go to main city and enjoy life . They go for shopping and for eating in different restaurant also . There is no gym in our hostel we didn't have hostel till now . Yes it is safe for night roam .
