Remarks
Over all its good College to study they take academics and other activities very seriously. One negative thing is that the fee is quite high compare to other colleges for PG students or else it's a good college to study in.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our PG course especially biotechnology have a very good set of syllabus. Because every year they change the syllabus and incorporate current things in our syllabus. And our syllabus is very similar to the syllabus of UGC net exam
Internships Opportunities
No not in our college , as far as I know we our college do not provide internships, but they will let us know about other internship opportunity.they will also let us attend other internship.they will also provide the leave for internship
Placement Experience
I'm not very sure about the placements. For chemical course they placement is very good. But for biotechnology there are less companies coming for placement. Few of my super seniors were placed in few companies
College Events
We have many events taking place in our college. For UG students they have a interclass competition and for PG students there is similar thing called sangam. Then UG students have a intercollegiate fest. In biotechnology there is a departmental fest called CHIMERA
Fee Structure And Facilities
B.sc fee is quite feasible. But according to me MSc fees is expensive. Only biotechnology fee is expensive compare to others. But in second year it will reduce. It also includes university fee so first year fee is hit expensive
Fees and Financial Aid
No, our college as such do not produce any scholarships.I don't know about loan facility, I haven't availed to any such facilities. But we have other scholarships which the government will give. They are announced in our college.
Campus Life
Our college is very good at extracurricular activities, we have a swimming pool in our college and there are different facilities for other sports. Our college also motivate students to take part in other activities like dance and drama, MSc biotechnology labs are pretty good. we have lot of instruments just for our department
Hostel Facilities
I personally didn't stay in our college hostel. But according to my friends they are pretty good, clean. But few of my friends have problem with food. They are also quite perticular about time.Other than that everything is fine
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful, they give a lot of insights in how to go about in future. We have many alumni who visited our class and told about their present job and what they want to do next. They encourage us to write competitive exams
Exam Structure
In PG it is semester wide, in each semester there are 2 internal exams who's marks will be added up to the final exam. There will be final exams and then the practicals will be conducted after the final exam
Admission
First we had a fill a online form and they. it will be verified and then we are called for a interview with the principle, they will ask few general questions and then see our marks and then we are selected.
Faculty
It had pretty good facilities. They will well set labs and classrooms they are spacious and there are courts for diffefent spoets but is no car parking in our college. We also have a small park where students hangout after college
