College life forever

History means to know your past for betterment of present and future so i was always fascinated about history, it was always my favorite subject. I have had great help in my government job preparation through history as well as it help me crack many interviews. Practical lab and digitisation of the subject knowledge os Nesscesary for a subject like history. Exams were very frequent almost in every 3 months assignment were submitted online mode but semester exams were offline. Exam level was moderate to difficult.

I paid a fee of 3500 per year also paid 1000 rupees as admission fees and five hundred rupees for registration fees. The fees is same for everyone irrespective of categories. There were merit cum means scholarship opportunities for those who acquired 75 percentage or above in their 12 standard exams. Also scholarship for needy students also but with categories they can avail it. The fee can be paid in installments also.

Annual college fest was inaugurated each year also annual book fair was held at college ground in the month of September. We have huge college library contains above 1000 books and journals. Facilities of classroom are good but no of computer system is less according to number of students. Digitisation of library and lab are a Nessecity. We have our own club called young eleven who arrenged many sports teams and blood donation camps and book donations to needy students. We also have our whats app group where we connected with each other and share every detail related to study and exams.

I have also applied in college like Calcutta university and presidency university of Kolkata but i couldn't study there due to non available seats in open distance learning. The admission process in NSOU is simple you have to score minimum 60 percentage in your 12th exam to enlisted for screening and 100seats were filled up out of those according to merit base. The exams were moderate and easily be cracked for the admission. After selection they call you for the registration and admission fee should also be submitted then.

The faculties to students ratio in our college was 1:20. Faculties are very friendly in nature and have good approach and in depth knowledge in their subjects. I like vishwanath sir mostly who teach me history like story telling but also in a factual manner. But the quality of teaching of some faculties should be a little better. There were 6 semester in three years so six exams and six assignments also we have to pass. Gladly no student failed in our batch. The course curriculum was very detailed and greatly helpful for higher studies in history subject.

We have our own gym, library and also cafeteria with canteen facilities in our college where we spend time after college. Our college has two boys hostel and one ladies hostel. There is lake nearby where we hang put and chill. Local people were very supportive and helped us in every way afetr a busy day of study we have fun at evening watching movies and all. Nearby locality is safe during night college has own security guards as well as police petroling is done at night and hostel were closed at 9pm.
