Campus life at IITM

The subjects and the faculty which taught you the subjects plays a great role in specifying the rating done to the course curriculum I rate my College course a 4/5 since they provide us with books to be issued by each semester also we can take the books from the library for a specified period . Faculty members also provide with well ordered notes of each and every chapter which helps a lot at the time of examination . The course subjects are well structured with a proper understanding . The subject are not too easy but not too hard they are good and is scoring if read thoroughly.

We as an undergaduate is eligible for an interview in 5th sem i.e, final year . Since various companies hire student enrolled in final year as per the companies requirements and eligibility criteria. I got an offer from wipro with 3.02 LPA though they were offering the role of Business Associate a great opportunity for an undergraduate to be a part of such a renowned company . Many more companies arrived like infosys with a package of 2.12 LPA offering the role of system associate , SAP came offering the role of Software Engineer with 3.12 LPA with an integrated degree program to do MCA and Mtech from BITS , Pilani . The largest package was offered by CISCO of nearly about 22LPA offering the role of Project Specialist in Bengaluru .

IITM i.e, Institute of Information Technology and Management located at the heart of Janakpuri, New Delhi is an esteemed institution affilated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is known for its specialized courses in IT, Management and other allied fields. It offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs including BCA, BBA, BCOM, MCA, B.Tech etc.The fees structure of Undergraduate Programs like BCA is Rs.98000 for tutition fees, Rs. 20000 for university charges, Rs.1000 for activity fee and Rs.10000 for security deposit(one time payment).This structure changes time to time depending on the course chosen and other administrative factors.

There are various events and competitions conducted by Departments and cells of the entire college . The most engaging cell of our college is Internware and Software Development Cell . Recently it conducted a tech fest named Matrix and techno sapiens . There are various other cells like the cultural society , AI experience centre , robotics and drone cell , grievance and redressal committee of IITM and many more are there . The library is filled with books and a good and well disciplined floor of our entire college since we have two libraries one for undergraduate students and another for postgraduate students

IITM comes under top 5 colleges for BCA since I was determined to pursue only this course after opting for Informatics Practices as one of my subjects in my 11th standard .My rank was 1500 and while filling the form I had mentioned to opt for this college due to its environment and placement opportunities which makes this college overall a best option to opt for . I donot get rejection from any college as I had opt only for this after knowing my rank I knew I will be able to pursue my undergraduation in this college .

The faculty members are quite intellectual since they provide knowledge of there own subjects as well as provide with other opportunities to do like the research work . Currently one of my subject teacher Ms. Prabhneet Kaur is a Phd holder we together worked upon a research paper titled Heart Disease Prediction using Machine Learning Algorithms which got published in a book through which we receive certificates and various takeaways through the event . This opportunity unlock my potential in research work and make me believe that I could engage myself in the field of content writing and research analyst .In each semester there are many subjects depending on which a person with 40 marks is considered pass out of 100 and a person scoring 100 which I got in my java programming language as one of my subject in 3rd sem, College provide you with a certificate and a sum of Rs.500 for academic excellence.

Our college consist of library, canteen, various hangout places . The college timing are from 8:30 to 3:30 for morning batch and 10:30 to 4:30 for evening batch . The students are free to use library , canteen and lab for use . Might have heard of Btech panipuri a famous hangout place to go not at much distance and is famous . Our college also allows student to work for the upcoming event for late night around 8pm and so .
