- The quality of infrastructure was excellent. All the labs and calssrooms were well equipped.
- Many conferences , seminars and workshops were conducted which were much relevant to our subject matter.
- All the teaching faculties were expert in their fields.
Dislikes
- workshops and seminars included charges other than fees.
- placement of life science department is not up to the mark.
- extra charges apart from fees are at high end.
Course Curriculum Overview
core courses include- Molecular biology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, cell biology, bioinformatics, plant biology and genetics. labs were moderately equipped. There was a system of exams conduction 4 times a year i.e mid- semester and end- semester examination projector method os teaching was also included in some of the classes. conduction of class tests.
Placement Experience
In the last semester students become eligible for placement. several companies lile- accenture, microsoft, panacea , infosys, TCS etc. hires their students. placement includes many rounds such as written exams, overall CGPA in the entire course, Group discussion. approx 40% students of this course gets placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee per semester was 50,000 for the students who secured greater than or equal to 70% marks in their graduation program. scholarship of rs. 4000 was given to the students who secured 70% or above inn graduation. total yearly payment was of about rs.179500 was done. women quota also applies here.
Campus Life
Several fests such as Grafest, Diwali fest are being organised. many seminars and workshops are organised during the weekends. seminars and workshops includes charges which is a drawback for the students. All the books of foreign authors are available in the library such as Lehninger and Cell biology by Albert. classrooms were equipped with white board facility and some classrooms were alloted projector as per the teaching needs.
Hostel Facilities
1.There are N number of hostels such as Sardar bhagat singh hostel. Sardar patel hostel, Sarojini hostel etc. 2. I was in Sai hostel. 3. two seater was of 1,40,000/- yearly and three seater was of 1,20,000/- with AC facility. 4. Non AC rooms were of;- twin sharing -1,15,000/- and three seater -1,00,000/- 5. In 2nd year I opted for pg near gate no. 2 6. food quality was above average.
Admission
1.I applied to several colleges such as jamia millia islamia, aligarh muslim university and delhi university. I got selected in AMU in MSC toxicology course but I didn't join that course as I already started my classes in Graphic era university, and I actually liked the vibe of the college. 2.It was a very disciplined college , several fests are also organised there such as- Grafest, Diwali fest etc. 3.Very student friendly environment is there. their BTECH program is best. admission and scholarships atre awarded as per the graduation marks.
Faculty
Faculty is student friendly,they are approachable and willing to clear doubts. faculty is experienced and qualified according to their job role. they are very helpful during the placement time. There are several teachers which try their best for students such as DR. Pankaj gautam, Dr. Navin Kumar and Dr. Manu pant.
Night Life
1.Gym service was present free inside the hostel. 2. library remains open for students till 8p.m for their studies. 3. many research artivcles, journals and review papers were present in the library.
