Likes

Good hostel facility. Seperate hostel for boys and girls with all needs. Guest house is also nice. Every day they used to clean the rooms both in guest house and hostel.
Good campus. Campus contains ATM, Canteens. Seperate laboratories for each subjects.
Time to read and write records. Every practical will be explained by the professors. Later they used to give us to time to prepare ourself.

Dislikes

We won't get access library facility. Because library will be close during we come out from our laboratory classes

Course Curriculum Overview

Department provide the information through a what's app group. They provide all the information through the group including theory exams, practical classes, examination notification. Tution fees related orders. Old question papers etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Am studing MSc Chemistry. It's 2 years course. Every year I paid 25000. I studied under distance education. I dint got any scholarship. But my batchmates got scholarships. I used to attend only practical classes due to distance education. But they provide use online theory classes.

Campus Life

Sorry I dint knew much about this because amount studying in distance education But the regular students involved in sports. NCC and NSS camps etc. another library near the campus provide very good environment to read

Admission

I dint applied to any other colleges. Because I want distance education. I also did my graduation through distance education. I just applied online while I got to knew about the admission. I contacted my nearest regional centre to knew about the course. And directly applied there

Faculty

Students approach faculty without any hassitation. Faculty wil response to the students very well. Faculty will give time to prepare for the exams, to write records. The also give time to repeat the practicals

Night Life

Cafetaria is very nice name as round canteen Sunday it will be closed. So we use to go out side from the campus. I love to have tea at round canteen. I have tea atleast 2 to 3 times while am at Mysore, Even though I won't like to have tea in other days.

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

I got my admission confirmed in online manipal university. Mainly my parents denied due to its fee structure. I choose ksou because it was cost effective and it is convenient. "KSOU: A Flexible and Independent Learning Experience"

* I didn't apply other colleges because I was looking for only distance education i didn't find other option which is near my location. I choose KSOU because it offered flexibelity with distance learning. Which allowed me to study at my own place. Other colleges had rigid schedules and higher fees than KSOU. * No I didn't get any rejection because I haven't applied other university or college. * Admission Process : Ksou admission process was smooth and simple, no complicated proceedures. Just go to the nearest KSOU regenal study center and they will help u regarding the same. *Eligiblity : KSOU requires a graduate degree for PG courses, and no entrance exams are needed for most courses. * Exams and cutoffs : There are no entance exams for most courses abd the cutoff is not struci.
