My college in my eyes

I choosed to study in english honours because I like English subject from my childhood. College didn't influenced me to decide my course. We were the last batch to study in year. After our batch semister started in every college. So I can not give my opinion here because the education system has been completed changed. There teaching methods are very friendly. Exam was not held every time on time. It took some time occassionally. Otherwise all official works were well mentained.

There fees structure was divided into 3 years. Total fee amount was 15400. Fees was little different in every department. Difference amount was between 500 to 1000. Reserve catagory was not considered to get extra facilities. There some scholarships also approved for financially weaked students, such as Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum, Jindal, Kanyashree etc.

There annual program is organised every year in the month of March. Also sports is held in there own ground. Prize distribution ceremony is also included. Freshers and farewell program is also organised in the month of August and July. Department fresher is also organised by each department in the month of October. There is a gym in college campus. In the college library books are not sufficient and up to the mark. Otherwise everything is good.

Firstly, this college is in my hometown. So, it is very near to my house. I can go to college by my own without depending on anyone. I preferred this college because my father also studied here and he could suggest me in any topic if I needed. Because everything cannot be changed in one place. Again, my marks were little low than other students in another college and those colleges are far from my house also. One can get admission there by online.

In our college many students got admitted but till the last year not everyone stayed there. So in the first year students were more than the faculties. But in the last year it seemed like faculties were more than students. As an example if 100 students get admitted in first year then 20 students remained till the last year. There were 6 faculties during my time. They were very helpful. I found no faculty who was not suitable for the college. We studied in year system. Mostly students passed in every exams.

Our college was in morning shift. So, no night life activities were organised. But only before the day of Saraswati Puja every student is actively engaged to decorate the whole college specially the place where the puja will be occurred. That experience is very good. It might take to the evening.
