Positive: Training and Placement Department, Very comfortable seating arrangement, Good infrastructure. Supportive Teachers. Negative: No platform where alumni can be in touch. Uniform can be removed.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion, courses offered by college has a wide choice for the students. We can choose from the wide range of the courses offered by the college. I had chosen B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. My college provide internship but I did not take this privilege offered by the college. Yes, some of my mates did the internship in the last year i.e in 7th and 8th semester. College also provide some extra courses in the college only.
Placement Experience
College provide a good opportunity for the job. They had a dedicated department for this. Companies came to college for the recruitment. We were also allowed to go for the recruitment in other colleges,
College Events
There were many events that were celebrated in the colleges. Though I have only few in my mind. "Sankalan" was an event which was held for the freshers. "Mata ki Chawki" was celebrated every year. Technical fest was also organised
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure was divided in various parts. At my time fees of 1 year was 1 lakhs 10 thousand for college. Hostel fees or transport fees was not included in this. 10000 were taken as the security amount which was being returned post course completion.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility was provided by college. Many of my friends had taken loan. College provided scholarship for toppers (First, Second and Third ) of every branch. Scholarship at university level were there which was on the basis of caste.
Campus Life
College had a good focus on the extra curricular activities. Various cultural, technical and sports programmes were organised by the college on different festival and occasion. Sports were held at both intra and inter level.
Hostel Facilities
I would rate it "More than Average". Hostel infrastructure was average. Two, Three and Four Seater rooms were available. Mesh and Gym was also there in the hostel. It also included the laundry. In case if cooler or AC was required, that can be arranged with some extra amount.
Alumni/Alumna
I would like to say that Alumni network is quite weak. We do not have any platform where we can be in touch. College should think in this concern. Though I am in touch with very few alumni, they are helpful.
Exam Structure
In total there are 8 semester exams and in each semester two sessional exams were conducted. For all 8 semester exam, practicals exams were also conducted. Semester exam centre was held in another college.
Admission
I got the admission through UP Entrance Examination. I got the college from the counselling conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University. After the counselling I went to the college for the further procedure of the admission.
Faculty
College Faculty was fine at my time. some of the faculties were very good but yes some faculties were biased (only one or two), rest all the faculties were very good. They were co-operative and also helped in achieving good results and placements.
