College Premises

College is trying their best to provide their students from teaching team or faculties to the companies for recruitment. Just they need to tieup more with the multinational companies for the recruitments.

Course is not updated and advanced by the University, CHHATTISGARH SWAMI VIVEKANANDA TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. They have minutely changed n updated the syllabus but I think they need to advance it more with the latest technology and requirements.

No, college doesn't provide internships. We are required to attend the trainings or the internships by our own. But, for the core branches like Mechanical, Electronics and Electrical they can opt training from BHILAI STEEL PLANT or from CHHATTISGARH STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD.

Placements from the college is good. They provide ample of companies from the month of September to the month of June. From technical to non technical companies come for campus placements. Few Multinational companies also arrive like TCS, CAPGEMINI, TECH MAHINDRA, BYJU'S.

In every year college conducts many training courses. Trainers from IITs come to college for training session. After the complete training courses the students are provided certificates. Beyond this, our college presents biggest central techno-fest named as Samvid. Every year from Hackathon coding contest to dance, singing, fashion ramp walk, various games and many more are conducted. Big celebrities are invited to judge the events and for live concerts.

Fee structure is feasible. Students' parents can afford that much fees. Concessions are also given to the students with finical problem. Every year students have to pay fees twice, for two semesters.

Scholarships are not offered by the college and loan can be taken from any bank and they are availed and accepted by the college. Students have to submit their fees in the mentioned dead line and mentioned last dates unless the late fees is added.

There are many extracurricular activities like practical labs, evry week a particular subject has atleast 3-4 practical periods. For sports inter university competitions are conducted. In college football ground, basketball coat and cricket ground is there for the students to practice.

Hostel infrastructure is good. Students are provided with good rooms and services. Food provided is also good and have a good hygiene and quality products are used. Free WiFi 24x7 is available to the students. Proper security is provided. Some events are also conducted in hostel.

Alumni and Seniors are connected to the college and time to time they come to college and meet the college students and share their experiences with the students. They are definitely helpful to their juniors. They are also connected to the junior students through social media like Facebook, Instagram.

Exam is conducted from the University. Students have to apply for their semester exam in online university portal. Under the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, there are hundreds of college. The exam is quite similar to Board exams because students have to appear in exam from different college centres. University has chosen few college as the checking center and online checking is done.

I had given the CGPET exam which is the entrance exam for all engineering college in Chhattisgarh. After exam, got the result n score card within 10 days. Then document verification was done. After this, we had to chose the preferred branch and college i.e. college counseling. As per the state level ranking in CGPET, college branch wise seats are filled. Then after that the college and branch is allotted to the students according to cut-offs. In total there are 3 counsellings done in every year for B.E. admissions.

College faculties are well qualified. They have thorough knowledge in their respective subjects. They try to give their best, and provides best knowledge to the students. They are very helpful to the students and clearify all the doubts of the students on the subjects.
