Course Curriculum Overview
According to NEP. The course curriculum is not good, this is not only in my university, each and every students face this problem.And they conduct the exam in only 4-5 months . This is not good for students.
Internships Opportunities
Not all departments have internship opportunity. But the department of languages " bhasa Bhavana" have opportunity of internship. It includes europian language , Asian languages. I have no idea about project
Fees and Financial Aid
In the time of admission I paid ?6080 including :- Addmission fee 2000 Culture fee 200, caution monay (refundable)500, development fee 100, id card 50, library addmission fee 150, library caution deposit (refundable)300, medical fee 240, medical insurance fee 230, registration fee 1000, student amenities fee150, Student aid fee 200, sports fee 120, tution fee 840. But after 6 months or per semester we have to pay about 2080 ,no extra charges will be paid. For SC and ST hostel fee is only ?50/6 months. There is no compulsory charges for completion for SC and ST . Expect SC and ST , all have to pay same . SC and ST have to pay more less then obc and general. Viswa Bharati is in west bengal they have scholarship named "vivekanand ". And I have no idea about scholarship.
Campus Life
I have already studied in this university more than a year. After every 2 month they have culture programme. They have "Art mela" "poush mela" "nandan mela" and so on .... . In Chinese department library there are lots of cinese books gifted by china . And central library also have a lots book , all types of books. University level sports were palyed . Many of students run social group for helping the students.
Hostel Facilities
There are abou thirty hostel in Visva bharti .I written this as per my hostel and my room .I am not konw about others. I have a single room of Two bed , two table ,two chair , one fan , two almirah, balcony. Meal quality is not good . No raging, if you caught you will kick out from hostel the university. There is a place called " gurupali" where you can rent room .
Admission
This is the government college. And I have to study Chinese. This college is one of the best for study Chinese in India. And this is the nearest to my home town . College not rejected me I reject the other collage. afte the result of CUTE exam they started a online registration, after this they start online counseling or documents verification at the last physical councling.
Faculty
First of all this is centeral university and all departments are separated so I have no idea about all . But as I am studying " Ba in Chinese" faculty and students relationship is very good. Teacher always help the students. Cheena bhavan is best.. According to NEP rule we have 6-7 exams per sem . As I am learning Chinese so it is deficult it manage. If you not prepare well you definitely fail .
Night Life
Night life for boys is good but girls were not Allowed to go outside of hostel afte 9:00PM . GYM is closed at 7:00pm cafeterias is open to 11:00pm , library 8:00am - 8:00pm. There is no restriction for boys hostel of opening and closing. Visva bharati is not a place for hangout . If you know about santiniketan then ok , Othe wise you have to study about santiniketan.
