College review

Overall college is good but it lacks in some aspects as proper funds are not given for any new projects, ideas and innovation. But Teachers help as much as they can in that new idea and innivation. Also placement scenario is slight less than average

Course curriculum is according to the norms of AICTE, but there is no funding given for new ideas and innovation to be carried out, students have to do on their own. Classes held regularly and atmosphere is good.

No our college does not provide internship but our teachers help us to get somewhere for training and internships. We have to go other places for internship and all for example IITs and NITs. Not a single student come in our college for internship.

Placements are less than average for core branches, only few companies come to recruit. I am in 8th semesterand In my batch till now only 14 students are placed. While in other branches placemwnt scenario is average for example in computer science.

Ther are so many events that are being celebrated in our college for example querencia, chimeraX, cypher. But techfest has not been organised since last 5 years. In 2017 our college has celebrated golden jublie for 60 year of completion.

Fee structure is more as compared to other government engineering college, In first year my tution fee was 20000 and the fee structure which we were given has the same fee for other three years, but our college tricked us and said that it was misprint and increased our tution fee upto 45000.

There is scholarship given to SC/ST and OBC candidates by the college, also there is a scheme in which student whose pointer is above 7.5 and annual family income is less than 4.5 lac per annum are given scholarship.

Extracurricular activities are nil, students have to do on their own. lab facilities are good, regular labs are included in time table. Proper instruments and models are there to elaborate the model. Sports facilities are nil.

Hostel facilities are good but its not for all the students only few students can be accomodated in hostels. Hostels have rooms well ventilated and kitchens and mess of modern styles, food given is nice and there is also gym facility here.

Alumini network is quite good. They are helpful and funds are also being arranged from alumini most of the time, one of the scientist from ISRO is alumini of our college who comes to our college to teach aerospace.

Exam structure is good, previous papers are sufficient for cracking the theory exams but how teachers check the paper that's even god will not be able to tell. I have applied for three times in reval and one time in challenge, every time i increased my marks upto 10-12.

There is an entrance exam of engineering called JEE MAINS, i have given the exam in 2015 and secured AIR-64500 approx. After that I have registered in mponline.gov.in in DTE. And then complete registration to counselling process has been done.

Faculties are good, most of them are NIT and IIT postgraduates. They are helpful but in practicals girls are given more marks, i don't know why. In my department there are total 54 faculties including all.
