The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
