BSSS IAS - the same or something visionary.

My specialisation is Finance and Marketing and i chose this field because i have prior work experience in Marketing field and i wanted to gain knowledge on Finance field. Our course is fully in line with corporate trends and if students seriously understand with a corporate mindset they'll be industry ready.

The internship program is accompanied by local manufacturing and print companies that also come for placement. I personally completed my internship from TOI in which we were again given a sales role and a minimum target was given to us. Very few companies gave stipend to there students, to name a few wenodo, TOI(Mumbai).

This is the only place where our college lacks as of now. As of now only sales roles have been arriving as our placements. The college is new that's why this is happening. But in the near future, it will be a premium Institute with high packages. Currently i would say that the average package is around 4 lakhs and the highest package was offered by Jaro Education that came with a package of 10 lakhs.

So the total fees of our college is 3 lakhs. Initially we have to give 20000 as our admission fees and after that the fees is collected before our main BU exams. The previous batch had a fees of 2.6 lakhs and our juniors are paying 3.15 lakhs. The college provides scholarship of MPTAAS for students. Our college has tie up with Synergy Universiry(Russia) and Assumption University (Thailand) and more than half of 3lakhs is charged for a degree of these courses.

The college has a very engaging college life. All majore cultural events have happened and most of them were anchored by me only. Club activities keep on going all year round and one club activity is conducted every 1-2 weeks. Students also keep participating due to attractive cash prizes and hampers wirh the help of sponsors.

Our college has a simple admission process. You can directly visit the college or you can first apply online. Then you will receive a call regarding one aptitude test that will be conducted in the computer lab. The test is MCQ based and if you score above 75%, you get some discount on your fees. After this there is a PI round that is conducted by any faculty of your college. After this they'll let you know via call/mail about your confirmation. The admission fees has to be paid prior to officially going to the college.

Our batch has 143 students on roll and there are 9-10 teachers in total. The student faculty relationship is exceptional and all teachers welcome us with open arms when we visit them. The best teacher is Dr Amit Kumar Nag. He's the favourite of all students. He's super knowledgeable and he's also the Academic Advisor of Assumption University Thailand, so that speaks for itself. There is no faculty that is not liked by students as each one of them is an expert in their field of study. There will be a mid semester exam conducted by the college 1-1.5 months prior to our University Exams. The checking is linient. The course curriculum is very clear and mostly 75% students clear this examination.

There was a aptitude test that was MCQ based and after this there was a personal interview that was conducted by a faculty member of our college. The test was of above average difficulty and if one scores above 7t% in it, they get some discount in their fees. The PI conducted is also a normal one to one PI in which the faculty just asks about our interest areas and all.

There is no nightlife because the college remains close after 5 pm, we are only allowed to stay fater this on special days when specific practice is going on. The college has a hostel just outside on it's left hand side directly attached to the building. This is a hostel for all BSSS srudents, UG included.
