Course Curriculum Overview
Course is old and outdated ,and not comparable to good NIT like Trichy,warrangal and many more NIT. Courses there should be chance of improvement in syllabus.syllabus should be fully focused on technology according to world's demand.
Internships Opportunities
Yes,college provide internship. Last year,t ata steel visited our college.a nd gave internship in 2 categories,one is paid and other is unpaid. There will be selection process for selecting the people.t hose who will clear this round they will be awarded in unpaid category(without stipend). Again there is another round , who will top that round they will be awarded stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are average.average Package is another 6-7lakh.a nd average package is rising every year.for cse and it , placement is above 90 precent.last year many students get internship in Germany,australia,usa.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college 1,-aavartan organised by technocracy 2-eclectika organised by sanskriti 3-sanar sports fest organised by shaurya 4-E-summit organised by E-cell 5-rangmanch organised by dramatics club 6 go Green club 7 -raaga musical event
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure of nit raipur is feasible.as it is government institute.Fees depend on family income If ur family income is above 5 lakh than fees is 1 lakh 31 thousand. If below 1 lakh then fees is 6500. It also depends on category from which u belong Sc ,st get free education.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship provided by nit raipur however there is bank sbi connected with college that gives loan. Chattisgarh government give scholarship to chattisgarh students only.there is tie up between bank and institute.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities for this , various committe and club are made.l abs are well maintained with equipment especially for winning and metallurgy branch.s ports facilities are also good as several games are played and each has its own separate field
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is not good as in 1st year this institute gives hostel on jee mains rank ,for general hostel cut off rank is about 26000.and it varies for home state as well as according to category ,and almost 70-80% get hostel in 1st year but onward 2nd year ,only 30 %get hostel on the basis of end semester performance.
Alumni/Alumna
NIT raipur has strong base of aluminium network.senior students are very helpful even sometimes they are asking for help.Many time alumini visited our college and they interest with us and give useful suggestions.
Exam Structure
According to me exam structure is not good. There are two end semester in a year.And in between semester,there are two class test of 15 marks. And end semester of 70 marks so total marks is of one hundred twenty
Admission
I got admission in this college by jossa counselling.They provide admission on the basis of jee mains rank conducted by CBSE. I have filled choose in my priority order and they give this college on my rank.
Faculty
Some faculties are good and some are bad also that is faculty of my college is average.all are phd holders however some exception is there also.but overall I say personally ,I like faculty of my college
