Engineering College under mumbai university

With the recent fall of interest in engineering, only few seats are filled and thus it's getting difficult day by day for the college to survive, the market for engineers is still tough but the college should ensure that it provides the students with the best of knowledge as well as develop the skills required to face the market which they are unknown to. The college is upgrading by many means so it's a positive feedback but the way it was back the days when i took admission was horrible.

The course is very good, but certainly practical knowledges are diminishing in engineering which of tremendous worries, more importantly the University is at helm as it is the governing body and should keep in check the syllabus and the required information and skills, students shall enhance during the course.

No our college does not provide any internship, there is hardly any colleges under mumbai university who have the trends of providing internships, until 2018 haven't known much of colleges who provided internships

Placements and job opportunities are very poor in bharat college of engineering, the reason is due to inexperienced faculties and improper management and also the less efforts from the trustees and thw University mishandling the issues.

All the days falling in February are celebrated but unofficialy by students, the only day that's celebrated by the college is annual day. The college though is poor in organizing the annual function thus you shouldn't expect it to be of higher standards

The fee structure is quite moderate, but as per the fees the facilities given are less or non worthy of the expenditure made, but still it's one of the most feasible in terms of fees of numerous engineering colleges under mumbai university.

Education loans are available but the college doesn't take major efforts in providing it, so you have to try with the banks who could do it, but as far as i know it's relatively not that difficult as my friend had taken up one, regarding scholarships the minority and reserved categories face no issues, while also the other scholarships can be availed.

The students are enthusiastic in sports activities, and recently they had entered for intercollege as well as intracollege competitions, but relatively not so effective support by the college authorities to upgrade the sports facilities within the college, though the college have a very large area for sports development, hopefully in near future they provide the support and upgrade the ground for it.

Theres no hostel facilities available, but some students who wish to can mutually arrange for a rented flat nearby and it's not even that expensive as my colleague rented the one for 4K/month. In terms of canteen, you should keep it as a last option for lunch, for fast food it's little bit fine, water facilities are sometimes inadequate, mainly in summers.

From the last two years the college has shown an interest in developing the alumni network with the students being registered for the same, the college has also given the platform for the passouts to share their experiences with the young final year students about the stability of market as well as competitions faced in the modern world and help them for deciding their future.

For the students of HSC the course duration is 4 years under which, 8 sems are to be cleared, for the Diploma candidates taking admissions to direct second year, the first year is exempted for the diploma candidates, the course duration is of 3 years under which, 6 semesters are to be cleared. There are two internal class tests whose marks are added to the following semester.

The admission process commencea with the Directorate of technical education, certainly centres are alloted where u need to firstly register yourself for the admission process and submit the copies of the required documents where they are verified by the organization.

The faculty of college is of mixed type of people, some are really good and appreciable some are really worthless of the job, overall the faculty is somewhat good but the seniority is of major concern as the seniors bring much of information needed and skills with their experiences, so it's must to atleast keep in balance.
