A+ College with Excellent teachers but not so good administration.

Teachers are A++ in the college but the administration staff is one hard nut to crack. Not to be offensive, but some of the administrators are way too greedy for their *SARKARI JOB*, and they don't even bother to talk to students and their grievances. Any work requires around a week. and God bless you if you have any problem with any task.

This college is excellent when it comes to course and exam structure. There are two-semester exams each year. Course books are easily available and are of good authors. The library is big enough but not very much reliable. This college irrespective of your percentage in previous semesters allows to select your elective subject in the final year didn't quite like that. The correction of answer copies are fair and true. There are plenty of side courses as well for aspiring students, that too at minimal fees not exceeding a couple thousand per year. Fees structure is also sound.

Don't know about placement all that much, and frankly speaking, very few students look for placement after bachelors. I heard some of the seniors talking about placement but I didn't bother.

There are yearly fest and small events throughout the year. Be it sports or other events college provides all of that. This college is affiliated to Bhu and the fest there is conducted on a much bigger scale. Every affiliation has there own fest and they are pretty good.

Fees structure is nominal and fare. I opted for BCom Hons and the fee structure is below. (i am a paid seat student and each year 25000 os charged) * First-year fee was rupees 10,320(+25,000 paid seat) *Second and Third-year fee was around 9000. Each year there are rupees 3200 included in the fees for subject named ugdca and it can be removed.

I opted for the Up scholarship. refund amount is nearly the same as fee amount but the paid seat amount is nonrefundable and thus didn't get covered under the scholarship.

gender ratio is surprisingly balanced and nearly equal. This is not fair though. In the and its affiliates there are more colleges for girls than boys. The main faculty is coed. Dav pg college is coed there are only two girls in the college, Aryamahila, and Vasantha. and Rgsc os coed Girls are way too much compared to boys.

Seniors were good in my 1st & 2nd year. They help me figure out the fee structure and exam model . not so sure about alumni.

Bhu conducts yearly entrance exams for the main faculty and other affiliates such as DAV. pg college. After you scored the minimum required marks in your specific category, call letter will be issued and after that whole counseling process starts (almost 3-4 days)

Faculty of DAV, pg, Varanasi. It is just satisfactory. Cant complain because of the area located in. The college gate is always flooded with traffic jams no matter what the time is. Faculty is clean and tidy though. Main problem is of private vehicles parking. Although the parking is inside college they charge you ?5 a day which is unexplainable because there is no shed or anything like that.
