Likes
- The papers which we are studying it is really vast and have a great scope in today world. Also the syllabus is not too large it is genrally 4 units for each paper
- I must say the teacher, like they always giving their 100 % to the students, they always concerning about your academics and they even call you to attend classes
- The fees!! It is one the most affordable price and with such great facilities it is just remarkable
Dislikes
- Well i dont know of others but our department is small in size with common classrooms of different subjects.They have to build a separate department with classrooms for us
- The time table. well the time table is very busy specially after the rule of fyup under NEP it is very busy we have to stay at the campus from 8 am to 5pm
Course Curriculum Overview
Chemistry is the subject with the vast and important scope in the society. And the subject in which i am in (Industrial Chemisty) it is like the bridge subject for the chemical engineering and chemistry. Teaching method is very understable.
Internships Opportunities
so far no internship oppurtunity by the faculty but got some workshops and confrences but it doesnt mean they will not give us but in final year if you and your class wil offer the teacher they will surely give you
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah admition fees is really low if we compare that with the facilities my university proveds.The yearly fees for my course that is Bachelors in Science is approx 4.5 k per year without hostel fees and with hostel and dining it is arround 6.5-7k which is really affordable.Also there is many scholarship opportunity for the students coming from financially unstable backgrounds
Campus Life
Well as we all know that AMU is a secular university so the festivals are also diversed here but the major festival which i want to mention here is "Sir Syed DAY" which is celebrated each year here that is the birth anniversary of founder of AMU Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. If we talk about library or book collection so we cant ignore Maulana Azad Library of AMU that is the Asian Largest library. Despite Maulana Azad Library there are seminar library for each faculty. For extracuricular activities there is CEC which have different clubs like Drama club,Hindustani Music Club etc with its own Auditorium In sports there is a separate Games Comitte which have swimming club,cricket stadium,football tennis court etc
Admission
I never applied for any college i was,am and will be in AMU forever. haha Addmition process include entrance exam objective/subjective, it depends on the course u r persuing.in my case it was objective but in some cases you have to attempt an interview too so yeah it depends
Faculty
As i said before the faculty is over the top. They are really supportive and conscious about your academics. The faculty student ration is little low but i can bet that they know everystudent by name. So the relation is really good
Interview Experience
No there is no interview for the admission in UG and also not for me.. There was just an entrance exam which was objective yeah but there are interview for other courses admission. So yeah it also depends on the courses and the interview questions are always from the syllabus they provide
Night Life
yeah there is gym there are lot and lots canteens here with lots of tea dhabas and cafeterias hostel timming is different for boys and girls..for girls the entry time is before 6 pm for boys it is 12 pm
