Its got a great atmosphere to grow and learn.Jabalpur is a nice city having narmada around it which increases it's beauty.You will surely enjoy your stay and trust me you will be a changed person after this college it teach us the way of life.
Course Curriculum Overview
It provides a B.tech degree and the curriculum is not that great but yes it is not at all waste sometimes you will feel that it's very outdated but things are changing quite fast.It does provide you with a very solid framework for you to work on that and go ahead in life.
Internships Opportunities
No not for the undergraduate students but yes it does provide internships to pg students.See it's a tier 2 college so you can not expect it to be like IIT but yes it does provide you with ample opportunity to do what you want.
Placement Experience
This is the best feature.In jec it's like for it and cs there are a lot of opportunities present.Many organisations like tcs ,Wipro ,cognizant ,Infosys ,tech Mahindra ,reliance ,persistence ,trident and many more big and small firms hire throughout the season.Approx most of the batch gets placed.
College Events
Jec celebrates it's festivals and party's to the fullest.In college different fest are being organized from time to time.There are also many activities and groups like for nukkad natak , football ,basketball club.Our cricket team is also quite famous.Then there is Holi Diwali.Technical fest like HELIX are being organized at regular intervals
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very very feasible its the best college in terms of fee structure. In jec for each semester your tution fee will be approx 12k i.e your whole engineering fees will add up to approx 1lakh rupees only.After for every exam you have to pay a sum of 1500 approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no loan facility provided by the college because it's fees is so less you don't need a loan.As far as scholarships are concerned there are a no of different kind of scholarships being available to students having different kind of needs.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are good ,you will get ample opportunities to get into a club of your choice to play a game or to do whatever you like or you are good at like theatre or cricket it depends on you.Many students also participate in training and pacement office.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of the college is very old it's buildings are standing since 1947 when it started and didn't changed a bit.Hostels are also not in good conditions they are very old not liveable but you don't have to pay a single penny if you choose Hostels to stay.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes ,senior junior relationship have a lot of importance in this college.The alumni network is not that strong because our administration doesn't give a dammn about students. The juniors and seniors are connected but by their own efforts not with the help of college.
Exam Structure
Jec has got the semester exam system with exams being held 2 times a year with practicals and all. Apart from this during every semester you have to give 2 mid semester examinations and some projects and a lots of assignments from different professors.
Admission
First you have to give jee mains and then according to the ranks secured you have to go for the counselling where you will be allotted colleges and their respective branches.After that you have to go to the college for the verification process and for the fee submission.
Faculty
Faculty's are very good.Most of the teachers are from very good places. Most of them are from very prestigious institution like IIT and NIT.They are having at least an experience of 10 to 15 years in teaching.Faculty here is very helpful to those who really want to study and for those who don't no one can do anything about them.
