Campus review

Positive is the nature of the people around is nice the wheather is beautiful. Teachers try to help students in each and every way. Seniors also.help their juniors. Negative is the less no. Of classes.

Course curriculum is good but at that time teachers were really less and thats why classes were not happening. But then after passing out from there i met with a student of 2nd year who told me that teachers have joined the college.

Yes the college provide training for 1 months. I got the training at panandhro mines. All the people and officers in the mines were very supportive and give us full support in all the work we do over there. They even provide us vocational training classes.

Placements were not good.we havent got placed at that tine. But later i found out that the college have been visited by some companies and placements are now happening there. But still its not upto the mark.

Events are not at all celebrated in our college. Students celebrate it themselves. That's the reason why students most of the time go to their respective hometowns to celebrate festivals. Its like no festival at the campus kind of thing.

Fee structure was feasible as for girl students admission fee was nil. Tution fee was Rs 600 and some Rs100 for every re exam subject. For boys admission fee was Rs1500 tution fee was Rs 1500 ans some Rs 100 for every re exam subject.

The only one good scholarship i know about was for sc/st students they were getting some 5000 in 6 months. It was made for the students who cant afford even that low amount to study. It made sone students to pursue their dreams.

They does not indulge that much into extra curricular activities. As i have already mentioned that students prefer to go to their respective hometown rather than being in college so the college collegues does not take the pain to organize any event. Labs were fine. Some sports sometimes takes place. Like badminton.

Coming to hostel the overall infrastructure is good talking about facilities it offers you much.Lifts makes much easier for you to up and down,it provide you various sport courts like cricket,badminton,basketball and many more and also provides you caffeteria but the hostel is bit expensive it costs you around 140000 per year

Alumni network ans senior students were really helpful as they have themselves found the jobs they try to help in each and every way that their juniors would not suffer from the pain they have gone through. They were helpfull even when there were any other kind of difficulties we were facing.

We had a mid exam and a final one with assignments in each sem. We need to pass both of them to pass the semester. If even in mid exam we hv failed then we would get a fail certificate and whenever we will pass the exam we will get another certificate with that sub being passed. Re-exam chances are given every 6th month.

I appeared in the Gujcet exam in 2011 and cleared it and then i got govt engg college bhuj in the first round and i was happy and didnt opted for another round. And then i visited the campus then i was really very happy and as being in gujarat girls did not have to pay the admission fees. So, i got the admission without any admission fees.

Faculties are good but they are not taking classes properly. There was one faculty who was really rude. Else other faculties were good. They were really supportive. They do not differentiate between students of different fields. They support them equally.
