Kailkere Rukmini shetty memorial college of Nursing (krsmcon ) under the management of city college of nursing

Curriculum is arranged and managed properly,sometimes but rush to finish the syllabus ,duty time is preplanned. Annually culturals and sports is conducting between city college and rukmini college which will be last for one month ,onam is celebrated grandly , Christmas is there , graduation and annual day is celebrated together Three sessional IA exams are there duration of one hour and a model exam of 3hours , practical model exam is conducting during the duty time

Internship is currently available in father mullers medical College hospital which has good facilities and technologies. Extra internship fee is there which is 10000/-. Father mullers hospital is quite good which has 1000 beds.

The college name is kaikekere rukmini shetty memorial college of nursing.Location is Mangalore,Shakthi nagar,for girls hostels are provided in the college campus itself .hostel fee is included in the course fee itself around 20000/- for boys only first year students are getting opted for pg . College bus is available for those who staying outside the campus ,the college timing is 8:30 am to 4:00pm .mess is available for both malayalis and kannada students. Here most of the students are malayalis . Pros: Classes are good Food is ok Store is there within the college campus Near phc is available Church and temple is near Three hostels are there Outing time in Sunday is 8:30am to 6:00pm Cons: Extra electricity fee for per head about 400/- Mess fee is also not included in fee ,which is 2900/- Water scarcity is there sometimes but it is resolved by getting the tanker of water.

As a nursing student it is bit hard for engage all in this however here we will get the chance to get involved in socially,by going outing and with other colleges we are having conferences and visits .

Room can be consist of 4or 5 students two hostel are provided with common washroom ,one hostel is provided with atteched washroom ,two fans and two light ,one plug socket, table for studying ,cupboard of four compartment, coat is provided , bed and buckets ,plates have to buy seperately, 4chairs are available, place for laundry area each hostel is available,place to drying clothes is also available, each hostel has filter , Food is average weekly 4 days chicken is getting one day fish other days veg food , morning breakfast are puttu ,dosa,puri,appam ,masala dosa .

I didn't apply for anyother college other than this , but admission process is not complicated, easily will get the admission by attending an exam. Exam fee is collecting before the exam and the exam centre is near to the college .

In this college 9 faculty are there including non teaching staffs , the classes are nice , 2of them are librarians .one is account staff , classes are average . The teacher student relationship is neither quite good nor bad . However sometimes staffs being rude . Management is also bit rude , problems will only suffer by the students. The most liked mam is Joyce ,she is being friendly and teaching and also helps with requirements Not liked mam is not specifically,principal is not that much of rapport because of her position itself .

At the time of our admission,special exams and interviews are not there . But now the interview is conducting. It is not that much complicated , it is easy to crack . Management is hiring special mams and sirs for this.

After 6:30 pm students are not allowed to go outside for hostel students. Night life in Mangalore is little risk . We can take special permission from the college if parents are here .
