Mechanical engineering

Students get free books every semester in order tu study a very good initiative from the college,cons are unavailability of some equipment inside the labs but it's still better than any other college you might find in goa

I have opted for mechanical engineering. The course carriculum is quite good including various kind of subjects required in the industry also little exposure to the outside fields such as management,IT

No it does not particularly provide internship but 1 internship is compulsory for all students. Some of the departments provide contacts for the internships but not all. Mechanical engineering department does organise some programs as internships without stipend.few of the students from IT and computer department are also offered with stipend.

Placement and job opportunities varies from department to department especially Computer IT ETC and Electrical department has a very good placement record.reputed companies like IBM, TCS, Crompton,Vedanta groups,Jecobs ,Infosys comes to the college.

There are multiple dynamic events in the college mejorly knows as Happened (intercollege cultural event), Tandav (interdepartmental sports cultural event), spectrum (intercollege technical event) various events are organised which gives quite alot of exposure to students in various other fields than education

Fee structure is very good on an average ?22000 per semester we have to pay and also about ?3000 as examination fees so it comes to over all ?25000 if anyone is interested in hostel you can need to pay further ?4000 for the hostel

No specific scholarship are given by the college but some people get tution vaiver fund with is little reduction in college fees.loan facilities are not available but fees are comparatively very well balanced so no extra strain of fee payment on students

A very good scope for extracurricular activities there are music ,drama,fitness clubs available in college also many other sports are motivated in the college and also students are motivated in order to perform at intercollege and state levels

Hostel infrastructure is good enough 1st to 3rd year students live in sharing with 3 people and final year students get a seperate hostel with personal rooms.not many facilities are present in hostel though it's still good in living standards

Alumni network is quite good most of them also put efforts to get companies for placement also gives various talks in the respective fields some of the alumni are at a very high positions in various companies.the seniors are also quite helpful

There are 2 internal exams each sem with 25 marks each and avg of two exams are given as internal marks there are no practical exams for first year students which starts after the 2nd year also viva's are conducted seriously

Candidate has to answer GCET(Goa Common Entrance Test) after that offline admission process starts at DTE(Derector of Technical Education)Goa where rounds are held for various Catageries depending upon your rank in GCET in various Catageries

Facilities especially if mechanical engineering department are very well knowledged all PHD holders from reputed colleges such as IITs and NITs and with industry experience and also quite helping during the college projects.
