Remarks

College don't have good lab facility. Also infrastructure is poor but yeah it is improving. Faculty should be increased. Hostel facility are not too good. Good placement opportunities. Better communication with teacher. Evaluation process is good.( I m not talking about marks)

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum needs some improvement. But yeah it is already happening in college at departmental level. As the department always focus to make students job efficient and entrepreneurs so they focus to improve the course accordingly in every 2-3 years. And as college changed to university they have already changed the pattern to result oriented.curriculam now a days in HBTU is more focused on practical studies So now the curriculum is better than that I studied.

Internships Opportunities

Yes for some branches they provide internship in industry. But for some branches like civil, electrical, electronics etc. They don't have industrial connection. But yeah it is worth mentioning they provide whole power to students to think and work for internship an placement. So if you have skills they will support you as much as possible.

Placement Experience

4

Same case as internship. Some branches have excellent placement and some has poor. This year maximum package is 37 lakhs offered by uber and second is 22 lakhs by OLAM industry. Also many multinational companies takes students from HBTU e.g. Maruti Suzuki, Tata motors, Samsung, ola, indiamart, extramarks, adhani, adm, Hero Moto corp. TCS etc.

College Events

4

There are lot of events happens in HBTU. As there are 13 branches and all branches conduct thier technical event seperately. Some are PACT vision Confluence Zest Techera nirmaan Mecharnival etc. There is one cultural fest Adhyaay ( previously Odyssey) There is also sports fest alumni meet, Ted talk, esummit etc. Etc. Happening in this college every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is morderate. Approximately for non hostler the fee is 98000 and it is not that much as college also helps students to get state scholarship. For hostels you need to pay 50000 more which is included with food charges. The best thing is they return the remaining amount of food if not used in kitchen.

Fees and Financial Aid

They give the opportunity for poor students. They have some fee waiver seats. In which students need not to pay tuition fee. Also the there is upscholarship facility where college provide you proper help to get that scholarship. Also you can apply for national scholarship by central govt. On department level some companies like Asian paints, indigo paints, Ruchi Soya oil, etc. Provide scholarship of 50000 and more.

Campus Life

3

When we talk about extracurricular activities it is best for hostles and it is a good argument as they have better contact with every committee of College. But it is worse for day scholars as they usually didn't get to know about any activities.

Hostel Facilities

3

I can give them 6 out of 10 but yeah they are improving every day and as expected by 2021 it will be a better place to study. The campus is too huge which is devided in two campus. East campus and west campus. The facilities for students are not too good and yeah offcourse it is out of our comfort zone. But after four years we can realise that we cannot get better than this. Because they give you the experience of actual life ( it's not sarcastic)

Alumni/Alumna

They have best alumni network. They have contacts with alumni in abroad. And the best part is they take part in alumni meet. Whenever departmental seminars and fest are being conducted. Alumni also takes participation and that time they also help students in placements.the good placement of HBTU is because of its alumni base.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not good in my views, also I don't have the experience of new exam structure as changing in university HBTU has changed its exam pattern. For us it is 2 class test + 1 class test(in case of medical issues) and 1 end SEM examination. And now the structure has been changed. Now only 1 mid semester examination is being conducted by university and 1 end SEM examination. Where labs are merged in the written subjects so the exam paper is now reduced to 100 marks from 150 marks from old patterns

Admission

I got admission in HBTU at 2015 so the admission process was totally different from today. As that time UPSEE was the entrance exam and AKTU was handling the admission process. But now the things are changed as HBTI Is now a university and it starts taking admission from JEE MAIN and this college have 100% state quota. So admission is now a bit easier than old days.

Faculty

4

This is the weekest part to talk about. As HBTU have a very different course and specifications. It is very difficult to find best faculty for the department specially for chemical technology. They don't run post graduation in some branches like paint so they cannot find the faculty that have qualification matching with required one. So shortage of faculty is always being a huge problem for HBTU. But the main faculty with almost 25 years of teaching experience are also there and they actually are too good. They actually know how to teach

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
