Overall college was very good this help me too build my career by doing higher studies so I am very thankful.

I was toouch passioniate about mechanical things from childhood like cars,machines so that why I have choosed that so that I can learn about that and grow my career in this aspect. My courses explained all theory subjects with very simpled way and all workshops learned me the real problem solutions and making things easier way and better way in both academic as well as real world applications. They courses should take new way like modern development of industrial techniques innovation of processes that used by industry and change the way to explain in board most teachers room time for explaining simple things in board by writing it shoul be upgraded by Projector kind of things and ppts so students can understand very simple way. Actually timing of exams are very less as compared to academics almost every four week of study exams are conducted and thing is that we didn't got enough time to prepare for final semester exam.

Students are elegible for campus placement from 5th sem third year. Companies visited like L&T, Shyamal steel,Sandvik asia,Tata steel,GKN , polymer and others. Highest package was 2.5 Lpa and average was 1.5 Lpa and company offered role as Diploma engineer Trainee. Placement percentage was less like 50% because of some students go for higher studies. I have done higher studies I was not interested in placement that time.

I have paid that time around 1000rs/year tution fees around 700rs and others like lab,library , development and others round 300rs registration fee was 500rs for seat charge. Same amount for all categories but thing is that for sc,st and OBC students scholarship was there but thing is that hostel stayed category guys got more money in scholarship as compared to non hostel guys we get around 2900/yr scholarship for period of 3 years of diploma like OASIS and other also there but our college only providing one scholarship so I got only that.

Annual festivals are like one a semester and technical festival like twice a semester. Libraries are good but librarian was very strict only three books the give at a time and when u will return that books the staffs are checking like the books like cid if they got any mark or page left they will charge u a new book of these and journals are not there . Sports facilities are not there as a small ground is situated between hostel and campus and that is very small space so students only focus studies and go home or hostel after that. There was no facilities of technological things of classrooms . Students are making a group which is run by head like GS and all funds like clubs any occasion are made by them and it impacts for someone but someone got skills for managing the things for their future.

It is very good and reputed college that time in terms of placement as well as learning things and also nearly to my locality. No rejection I got because my first counselled college list was these and I got these in first counselled result. Just clear Jexpo exam and get a rank around 5000 u will get chance for admission.

Factually was like 30-40 include all departments in our mechanical faculty was 12-15 and student in mechanical was around 65 so ratio u can say teacher: students =1:5-6 I like the faculty who tought us Engineering Drawing, Thermodynamics as well theroy of machine and all time favourite of all students was there specially physics teacher He was too good and always took care of all the students in academics and other expect and remembered all students name during taking attendance of class . Teacher who i disliked Chemistry who always demotivated by telling negative things about industry and india and Engineering mechanics teacher who was too much frustrated and boring. Exams are there like Internal,Mid and final semester exam in a semester and every semester it was repeated. Mostly all students passed exam but i remembered in first semester during my team 2-3 got failed but they cleared during second semester by giving reexam of this. Course curriculum is very good allmost all subjects,labs and workshops are related to industry orientated.

As Campus situated vey deep from main road so there is no cafeteria nearby campus and also no gym is there public area like Centrum is there and library is open for college times only but Centrum open for all times. Hostel timings like after 11pm u can't go out and campus timing was 10am-5pm. Favourite hangout place is like Centrum, Asansol mela,damp. Locality is very safe at night just because people are very educated and genuied in that area.
