- HOD sir is arguably the most helpful person in colleges as students can approach him directly without giving a second thought.
- It is difficult for commerce students to find placements but BJB Autonomous as college has enough corporate tie-ups.
- I wish finding an adjective for faculties was as easy as anything because there are so many adorable things about them that we can safely say that they are one of the best.

- College doesn't have a strict attendance criteria and therefore some students bunk classes purposely.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to pursue MBA and for that Commerce is the best choice as we do have Maths as an optional subject and also some of the subjects are those which we will study eventually in higher studies. Our exams timings don't change as I am in my third year and the roster that we get in start is the one which is followed.
Internships Opportunities
It's mostly the banks as Yes Bank, Icici Bank do send their sunner internships requirement. The college hires many students as event hey need interns and it also helps students to learn how work is done. The stipend isn't much but learning during the internships is priceless.
Placement Experience
For placements students have to undergo mandatory placements training program in second year. So those who does well there are given the first shot when companies starts coming. Banks and Power and other companies are the ones that have made agreements with BJB Autonomous college and thereby 60-70% students of commerce department gets placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
BJB Autonomous is arguably the best private college not just in Bhubaneswar but in entire Orissa. The college still doesn't charge which can be called a Bomb as only 16k a year for B.Com (Hons) which is extremely manageable by any families. Scholarships are plenty and the best is the college also supports EWS by waiving off entire tuition fees for them.
Campus Life
Abhivyakti is out annual fest and also recently a mathematics day was also celebrated. Students of our college get to represent college in various events and also not just in Orissa but are sent to national level competitions as well. From football to cricket we also have basic sports facilities too. We have three blocks in all and the New Arts Block is the latest addition in that.
Admission
SAMS entrance is mandatory for almost all the courses in BJB Autonomous college. 50% or beyond that is mandatory and plus the entrance score. The cut-off list are displayed offline as well as online and the students who clear that are the ones that are awarded admissions here.
Faculty
For Commerce we have the highest number of faculties and not just MBA but some of our faculties are also CA as well. So learning accounting and other subjects which they have cleared with ease in their lifetime is so easy that we also have started learning our subjects which are among the toughest of toughest otherwise.
Night Life
Jayadev Batika is the best garden on Lewis Road and is just half a kilometre from our college. Golds Gym and Fitness Hubs are among the gyms. However, we do have a great gym inside our college too. Urban Rooftop Cafe which is reasonable and the best too is our craving centre.
