Likes
- First thing that i like more about my college is infrastructure as well as college campus is not that much big but it's infrastructure is really nice and all the blocks of college have their own different kind of infrastructure.
- Second and the thing that've talked about is that the college campus is not that much big but having a great location is such a benefit for students as you can see on google maps just on the opposite of the college there's a mall and metro station.
- Galgotias college is also a well known college for it's fest it has very big and it's own fest which is 4 day long and also various types of activities and sports happens.
Dislikes
- First of all there's no proper connection of different blocks if you've to go from E block to D block you have to walk 1 km as they are besides of each other.
- Second thing I don't think so that the placements of Galgotias are very good honestly they are below average.
- College faculties support. All the facilities of college are only concerned about their syllabus and attendance only.
Course Curriculum Overview
As i am BTech student so the course curriculum is sam as in every college the traditional ones. All the teachers cover their whole syllabus before exams and also take extra classes if anything remains uncompleted. Exams doesn't happen that much frequently but yes you have to learn continuously for them.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester all students are eligible for their placement. Companies like TCS and iffco and all the mass recruiters companies comes for placement for CSE 90% students got placed this year and highest package is of 45 lpa and average package is of 3.5 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year fee of BTech is around 1,25,000 and from second year it becomes 1,17,000 also there's the educational loan facilities and also all the necessary students got their scholarship instead of all these things as college is AKTU affiliated so you have to pay 8,000 per year as an end sem examination fee.
Campus Life
For extracurricular activities I'll give 9/10 to my college as there's club for each and every activity and i think there's club for every student and the environment of every college is very supportive and also seniors are very nice and supportive.
Admission
As like all the private colleges 85% of seats of every branch is issued for admission through competitive exams and rest of seats are reserved for direct admission or admission through donation and all the students who want their admission in CSE core they have to get more than 90 percentile.
Faculty
As an student of Galgotias i can say that the faculty to student ratio is good enough and also the faculties are cooperative except some but all the faculties put pressure on students for their attendance. Faculties of first year is best. If any student have to talk or to learn something they can meet faculty in their cabin but this happens only in first year.
Night Life
There's gym facility for the students who live in-campus hostel wheteh it's boys or girls hostel Also a big library is situated inside the campus which closes something around 6pm for all students and many cafeterias are also available inside the campus. Hostel gate closing time is 10pm at night till 5am in morning.
