If a student is looking for an overall development intellectually, socially, emotionally, psychologically and mentally Vignan is the best place because of its vast infrastructure, experienced faculty, the extra curricular and co-curricular activities.

The course curriculum was good, and it covered almost all the topics that a Food Technologist should know when he/she goes out into an industry or goes for higher studies or into research and development.

Yes It provides internship. As part of our course curriculum we have to do 6 month long internship and stipend depends on the industry we are undergoing training. The internship provides us practical knowledge and make us industry ready.

Placements was very high when my batch 2014-1018 is considered. It was nearly 94%. Job opportunities are also very high since the training we get here makes ourselves in par with national institutes and we are able to compete with them.

We have different national level fests including technical and college fests like Srujanankura, Vignan Mahotsav, Fudo Festino etc participated by students from all over India. Also we have several other college level fests and department level fests.

Fee structure varies for each department. It's feasible. Also it provides fee waivers and scholarship for meritorious students. It also provides full fee waiver for students who have cleared entrance with good marks.

All meritorious students are provided scholarships and fee waivers (full or half fee waiver) are provided to students depending on the rank they have secured in entrance tests. Educational loans also can be availed.

Extracurricular activities are excellent in Vignan. We can discover our talents and then excel in that with facilities provided. We have different clubs like arts club, music club, dance club, literary club, sports club, photography club etc where we can enroll ourselves and participate in different competitions and improve our talents.

Vignan Hostel was the best place I have ever lived and hostel food is the best that you can ever experience. Hostel provides an homely atmosphere. We have wardens to take care of us and also have medical facilities in case we fall sick.

We have a strong alumni network and our alumni help students in every possible way from internships, jobs, guidance for masters abroad as well as in India. We have whats-app groups and alumni network to get in contact with them.

We have 8 semester end exams. and each semester we have 3 mid term exams and also internal assessment exams. An average of 50% is required for passing each subject. Internal assessments taken weekly help students to revise weekly taken syllabus.

I got admission in Vignan through the common entrance test. College conducts entrance test and it also takes admission through common entrance tests like EAMCET, JEE etc. It also provides scholarships for students who got admission by securing good ranks in the entrance test.

We have very experienced and knowledge equipped faculty from IITs, NITs and other reputed institutes who help students in every way possible both academically and through extracurricular activities to excel and develop ourselves to be a professional who is psychologically and emotionally strong and imbibed with social responsibility and ethical values.
