One of the better private colleges in Indore

Pros of the college: Good location. Decent food. Nice accommodation. Cons of the college: Not good faculties. Curriculum needs to be improved. Too monotonous way of teaching. Need more social activities and events.

The course curriculum I felt is a little too theoretical. Most of the subjects are theory based so not much practical exposure is given to the students. Other than that the teaching can become quite monotonous at time.

No, there are no internships provided from the college. I believe internships should be availed as it increases skills of individual students in various industries at the same time provide them with some money.

The placements for civil branch are a little on a low end. There aren't many civil core companies that visit the institute for campus placements. I myself got placed on an open campus organised in another Institute. So campus placements are not upto the mark.

The main event that is organised by the college is called "Moonstone". Its an annual cultural as well as sports fest. Many activities are performed in the fest which goes on for three whole days. There is a dj night a guest celebrity dance night as well as various modelling shows as well.

Fee structure is on the expensive side. The fee whole the whole year is close to 75000 which can only be paid in two half yearly installments. So people can struggle with paying the fees at the right time. Without paymentnof fees the classes are cancelled and the exam forms are not processed by the college until the fees are paid so that is a bad thing.

For UR category students there are no scholarships and no loan facility available by the college. The college is not at all concerned about the students in this case and can be quite greedy at times.

Labs are decent. The sports ground is also pretty wide but not many events are organised by the college. Other extracurricular activities like dance amd singing are also not encouraged by the faculties and at times frowned upon.

Hostel infrastructure is okay but the charges are over the roof based on the facilities that they provide. There is also lots of politics and inner agenda goes on in hostels. There are also cases of ragging in hostels which can be quite traumatizing.

No, as I am an alumnus myself, I can testify that no alumni network exist in the college and no efforts are made by the college or students to even start one. Most of the students pass on and get on with their lives totally disconnected from the college.

The college follows the simple structure in which first is the med semester exam - 1 which is sort of like unit tests which we are familiar of. Then comes the mid semester exam - 2. After that the end semester exams are conducted. This is the same for all the eight semesters.

I appeared for JEE Mains and after the screening process I was assigned this college based on my merit marks as well as the chosen branch preference. There was no interview for the course and entry is directly based on entrance exam score.

The faculties in general are not up to the mark. For subjects like Geo technology and Strength of materials can use some more innovative faculties. Mostly the faculties are too monotonous in their way of teaching, they still believe in the old traditional approach. The college needs more new techers.
