As far my the positive remarks well one has to be here to experience the best NEHU has to offer with its overall Best library facilities in the state,the overall well equipped facilities and well trained teachers which are both friendly and helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well upto date and it covers a wide range of aspect such as the Higher Education aspects of the country, the Research Methodology and the Various Statistical Analysis And Computation which is very much required in the Course Work for PhD
Internships Opportunities
Yes it does provide internship programmes for Med students.The teachers are quite helpful and overall the students are cooperative during internship.The stipend is provided by the university on ground that the student should be enrolled in Med programme and that he/she must complete the internship programme which is fixed by the uuniversity.
Placement Experience
The Placement and Job Opportunities are quite good and high.Amongst the 100 Students that cleared PhD in tge year 2009-2019 all of them have got good job opportunities working in various states and even in the same state.The job opportunity is quite good with 100% chance of placement upon completion of PhD.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in the Universities like 1.Holi 2.Christmas 3.Varsity Month 5.Independence And Republic day Celebration 6.Christmas. And many other festivals and annual programmes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite reasonable.Being a Central University the fee structure is student friendly and levied to such an extent as it is affordable and relaxed by the government.Overall the fee is very much relaxed and cheap as compared to other private universities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Scholarships are given by the government since it is a central university.There exists different scholarships for different areas and fields of study like 1.NSP(National Scholarship Portal)for ST SC and Minorities 2.ICSSR for PhD students 3.Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for SS ST students 4.Maulana Azad Scholarship 5.Ishan Uday Scholarship for General and Professional Students.
Campus Life
The extra Curricular Activities are very good.Being a Central University there are various games and sports played during varsity and the best players are chosen to represent the university outside the state.I have represented the University twice for Chess in which I perform quite well.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is amongst the best in the state.There exists a dining hall, properly clean, well cooked meal,discipline maintained,free Wifi connectivity and overall the facilities are provided to Bachelor Post Graduate and PhD students with different facilities provided for international students coming from abroad to study.
Alumni/Alumna
There is also an Alumni network in the university where past students share their views,careers and opinions on juniors and of course they are very helpful in establishing a mutual understanding and bringing in their experiences and ideas into limelight especially with the youngsters who are often at times confused about the next step in their phase of study.
Exam Structure
The Exam is fixed with a semester wise system base on the Central University specific date that it held its examination usually on July(Even Semester) and December(Odd Semester).The exam is strict but the timing and overall procedure is quite okay and upto the mark.
Admission
The admission process was very strict, unbias and upto the standard.There was an entrance test held which comprises of 70 questions which are of difficult and medium level examination entrance.The Syllabus was at par with the NTA NET exams.Upon scoring 50% one is eligible for Interview and here a group of teachers and experts will select those who are able to answer the interview questions.
Faculty
The teachers are well qualified and on top of that there are 4 Assitant Teachers and 4 Professors in the department.Teachers are highly qualified and have vast knowledge in different fields of teaching.On top of that Regular Seminars,Workshops and Conference arr held by them often for students knowledge.There are also non faculty workers who help in the need of the Department.
