Beyond the Brochures : A student perspective on "ACE ENGINEERING COLLEGE"

When we were in 1st year ,final year students used to have a subject called DVT - data visualization technologies, as it is emerging subject Our college management have assigned that subject (DVT) in 2nd year itself. Our department faculty makes sure to work on a real time project/ application on each subjects. We can improve the course curriculum and teching methods by updating the contents and exploring the content in practice way. Working on real time applications and blending the subject problems with coding Each semester requires 6 months to complete Where it includes 2 mid exams ,internal lab exams , external lab exams and semester end external exams. When a student prepare accordingly to the syllabus provided then it would be easier to him/her to perform well in exams But when a student only focus on important topics then it's difficult to score good in exams

Total college fee: 1,15,000/- Fees Reambesment: 35,000/- JNTU fee: 2500/- Total fees I have to pay to college: 77,500/- Fees for SC/ST category students Total fees : 2500/- Fees for OC category students Total fees: 1,15,000/- State Government scholarship for having 75% of attendance. Scholarship amount that will be credited to students account: 4,550/-

My overall experience about the college.... In June 2024 the annual fest happened, that was the last fest for the college. In each semester we generally have a technical event called CODE(club of data engineers). Another good thing about the college is we don't have Library fees , we can access the book from library through our Id card without playing single rupee. We also have wide range of collection of books in each subject from multiple authors and publications. Each class have a smart board used for teaching topics visualization, we have a decent classrooms with good facilities. We don't have sports and extra curricular activities in college offered on campus We have a ground but we just play in our lunch breaks. We do not have such clubs in respective fields

Comparing my EAMCEAT rank, joining in this college makes a good sense and it's the wise decision. Compared to other colleges this is best among almost all the aspects wheather it might be placement,traing and academics. I have applied in Anurag college but unfortunately I couldn't get the cse allied branches as I m only intrested in cse allied branches. So I got rejected in that college. Admission process is clear and simple here. If you get a seat allotment order through EAMCEAT councelling you need to pay the 1st year college fees and lock your seat . Then you need to submit the required documents to college. Now your admission is successfully completed

We have really good faculty with decent designation. We have faculty who are specific in their own subject/work We maintain a good relationship with faculty,we have a good interaction with them , asking queries and also they helps in providing other materials apart from academics. Ashok sir ,he a senior professor who teached Data structure for me , he explains the topic in unique way. Apart from other faculty he teaches the academics in priority to training/placement cell , He provides the subject related trending material from other online sources. Shaik Nagur Valli sir , he teached me IDS subject, he doesn't utilise the given time and completes the units in 2 days which is proposed to complete in 2 weeks . He doesn't provide the complete knowledge of the subject to students. Here, we 60 marks for external exams and 40 marks internal exams 60 marks external exams consists of semester exams and external lab exams which will be conducted in the presence of outer college external examiner 40 marks internal exams include 2 mid exams each of 30+10(attendance & assignment marks) and the average of 2 mid exams will be considered. The exams are not that easy , somehow we prepare well and perform well in exams. Approximately 6-7 students from each class fail in the semester exams The course curriculum is relevant to the present situation and updates the course for each batch

I do not stay in college hostel. So I do not know about the kind of environment that students in college hostel experience. Our friends used to stay in college hostel. They have open gym spot where they hangout during evenings . If they feel hungry they go to canteen and buy something for them. Hostel will be closed at 9:00pm and again open at 6:00 am. College timings: 9:30am-4:30pm
