Infrastructure and many other things like
Teachers and seniors are good and helping

Campus Life

Campus Life is good I am a little bit introvert so I love to live in my own and there are a lot of books in library and a lot of sports activities in the campus which is a good thing according to me and

Admission

This is my dream college and no, one college in my state it's a pleasure to be in this college and I am not rejected from other colleges it's my first choice college and alhamdulillah I got it and I am blessed

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is less there are a large no of students and a very few students I like Monika mam and I don't like prenika sanglo mam both are good teachers but I am giving my personal experience

Night Life

Night life is good I used to go to library late night and it's a safe place for girls also and I love the campus and there are so many things that attracts us and I am happy to have such things and also

AIIMS JAMMU TOTAL REVEIW

Placement Experience:

You can get a job here after completing MBBS or md. Can go to any hospital or open your own. 1.5L per month is avg for a doctor. Starting around 90k a month. Internship gives 28500 per month. No batch has currently passed out from this college . Comparatively new college. 2020 batch(oldest batch) still doing internship.

After the degree we have to do a compulsory internship of one year in which we get the salary of ,12 thousand. After completing the internship we can do the residency at our hospital at the pay of 40-50 thousand with the acomditaion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was motivated since my 10th class which paved me a way closer to choose medical stream and to prepare for Neet though which selection procedure for this course is done. ASCOMS - Boon or Bane ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes it's pretty relevant they follow the new CBME issued by the NMC and it's in line with the PG syallabus and entrance exams as well . What they could change though is the teaching methods and how to be more interactive with students

All u need to know about ASCOMS Jammu

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Chose MBBS by my choice The more the practical and clinicals u perform the better u understand things rather than books . Real life experience is important I think what should be improved is that focus should be more on things that are more important for being a doctor. More towards clinical aspects more towards practical performance and less on things needed to cram Timing for exam of 80 mark is 3 hrs and is quite good enough time. 20 marks are of mcqs so total 100 mark.

GMC-Jammu in a Glance

To be very honest I didn't apply for any other colleges apart from GMC Jammu. Because in my state it's the best college for pursuing mbbs. Since it started operating in 1973, it has a history of high experience and high patient inflow as compared to other colleges like GMC Kathua, GMC Rajouri, etc. The teachers here are highly experienced as compared to any other college in the region. The exam required to be cleared before getting admission into mbbs course is NEET-UG. The cut-offs stay pretty high for General category students. This year in 2024 admissions, cut off for open merit was 667 for boys and 634 for girls in GMC Jammu. Overall admission process is not that difficult. One has to fulfill some requests which are enlisted by the college's student section every year, he's of them being a Transfer certificate from school, 12th mark sheet, Identify proofs, migration certificate, character certificate, health certificate, etc....Read More

My college made my MBBS journey easy and interesting

Eligibility for the admission in mbbs is to clear the NEET entrance exam for which you should have physica chemistry and biology in secondary school.
