Gauhati Commerce College- My Happiness.

1) I was motivated from my parents, they prefers me to choose Bcom course. 2) In 12th standard- Their capacity is 800 seats and for Bcom , faculty provides 1100 seats... 3) College faculty is really helpful and most of the teachers are friendly and Graduated... They are experienced professor's... 4) Bcom have two exams per semester... In 1st semester,our classes starts from August and sessional exam starts in September last... And in November last,or December first week, final exams starts..

1) 2000 to 2500 is a average fees structure if we say per semester... College provides books free of cost and scholarship also available... 2) i fillup my form in Ishan Uday scholarship in January... It provides around 1.5 lakh as a educational money.. 3) my friend is OBC whose fees is around 2000 4) Ishan Uday scholarship around Rs 240000

1) We have Annual College week in February and Freshmen Social in September. 2) Around 500 books are available in our college library 3) We have AC in room and pad machine in Girls Common Room. 4) We have field where Cricket and football both can be play. 5) Smile makers is our NGO group from Gauhati Commerce college who helps thousands of people by donating blood to the needy persons.

1) It was really nice experience! If you want admission in Gauhati commerce college then they makes list of cut off % per year... For SEBA 80%,and for CBSE 90 to 92%... 2) Application form will be given in college desk and in online also you can apply after printing the form... After form fillup, the college gives dates of admission which is offline and sometimes online... 3) They have reservations quotas so that each and every students, genders get the opportunity to get the admission.. OBC, SC, ST(Hills) , PWD, Ward quota etc all are included... 4) Yes , admission process should be better. Merit list making procedure is time consuming.. We have to wait 10,15 days for merit list... They makes 3,4 merit list per Course but it's takes to much time that's why many of the students takes the admission in private colleges....

Faculties are helpful and really good. Their response also very good to student and mostly they are active. We liked kamal Da, he is very good and helping person. In Bcom there are Semester exam and sessional exam. Around 6 sessional and 6 semester exam are held per Course. Only 0.5% of the student fail rest are always pass. Course is easy and clear.

We don't have interviews. The college admission is fully on merit based. The college publish merit list and gives date for admission. They give cut offs percentage 80,85% approx in first merit list after taking admission they publish second merit list and vice versa until the slots are full.

We have Our college Gym, canteen, library and public area, we say Commerce point where most of the students, adults gradually meet at the evening and enjoys. We have our GCC Boys Hostel where everyone can enter from 11 am to evening 5 pm. It is the official time for outsiders to meet the hostel boys. For hangout places we have Commerce point and Bridgeor tol and it is safe.
