The pros and cons faced by an student at GALGOTIAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

The increasing demand of artificial intelligence in today's world drawed my mind to choose this stream and this branch The economic and social growth that occurs when you leave your hometown and lives in complete different city is immensely remarkrable They can be more practical in their teaching method , taking students for factory visits and helpful AI models The frequency of the exams is like 20 days between 2 set of exams and main end sem exams

The companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS , CODINGNINJA, AIRTEL provides intership to the 3rd and 4th year students witha stipend of approx 20000-40000 for a duration of 3-6 months. The sincere students often grts the internships beacuse of there continuous hardwork and reach to the companies Obviously you have to make projects to secure a internship , the project must be different form others , so that you can stand out in the crowd and make your presence remarkable and effective

There are no placement opportunities for freshers but you can get enrolled in multiple courses for the development and from 2nd and 3rd year you can get intership programs CodingNinja and Infosys and many other companies visit the campus for placements , more than 150+ companies offer 750+ jobs 39 lpa was the highest placment for Autodesk and 3 lpa for TCS 50% students were placed on campus i will seek for a good package in a software developing company and will settle in a good city

the year wise fees of GCET is 1,15,603 Rs for 1st year and it is divided as follows tution fees - 1,09,603 security deposit - 5000 (refundable) application fees 1000 rs (one time) students belonging minor categories can also get state scholarship as well as central government scholarship students with approppriate JEE rank they can apply for fee waiver category in AKTU counselling fee waiver students have to pay only 6000rs per year as there college fees

The freshers party was held in first week of december. The freshers party was quite good suryaveer came and sang good songs. the library is quite good we can take books to hostel and home bu=y our id card and there is proper availability of seats . The opportunity for sports is very good , they provide proper ground and equipments for each sports and also you can enroll in the sports club for different sports .

Tthe hostel provides basic neccesties and AC and geyser , and an access to the electricity 24x7 and a high speed internet , also the mangament of the hostel is good . The meal is provided 4 times a day , the quality of the food is good and they also takes good care of hygeine The registration process is very easy , you just gave to provide some basic documents , security deposit , and fees accordingly , the hostel are also at a affordable price The locality is good , here knowledge park area is the best for the students to live a good hostel life with a sense of security and fun

The core reason behind choosing this college is the fees structure and also it is a well known college in the area and also a remarkable localty of the college in the heart of the companies I also got confirmes seat in ABES but i rejected it because of the localty and the type of strictness which they maintains The eligibility criteria of the college is through AKTU counselling (uttar pradesh counselling) and with appropriate jee rank you csn get the applied college in 4-5 rounds of counselling

The faculty members of the college are really helpful towards the students and provides appropriate solutions for each and every query raised , making a good bond between a student and teacher The college strictly follows AKTU curriculum in which they takes 2 CAEs and 2 PUTs , also the extra classes if a student has either low attendance or gets less marks The marking is done on the basis of step wise marking system

the night life of the college is quite good , the jamming sessioss that takes place here and there in the college campus , also you can go to canteen for some really delicious food. the closing time of hostel is 9pm sharp and after this time if you come to college and you have to call your parents for the entry . Jagat farm , pari chawk , alpha block are some the hangout places near the college and yes locality is completely safe for boys and girls both.
