Svnit : may be your dream college

I like chemical industry and i am interested in chemical line that's why i choose the chemical engineering. Chemical engineering is one of the chillest branch in our college. I think amount of practical should be increased and visit of industries should be include in course curriculum. Theory should be less than practical.

Internship is mandatory in 8th semester of course. Companies which come for placements mostly offer the Internship. Otherwise if you want to find yourself you can find it by yourself. But you can get Internship very easily in college. Summer internship are also available. Stipend depend on Companies.

From 7 th semester students become eligible for campus placement. There is 88% ( average from last 2-3 years ) students get placed from on campus placement. There are too many companies which visit every year . Like reliance. Bhel, etc ... Highest Placement of last year was 19 lpa in chemical , lowest was 6 lpa and average package is around 9.5 lpa. I want to do mtech .

There is total 6,11,000 course fees . On and average per year around 1,52,000. There is tuition fees of 62,500 per semester . Scholarships by Institute.: If income is less then 1,00,000 then student will get full remission of tuition fees . Income is between 1,00,000 to 5,00,000 then student will get remission of 2/3 of tuition fees than means he/ she have to pay only 1/3 of tuition fee . Like someone's family income is between 1 lack to 5 lack then his/her course fees to be paid is 2,78,000 out of 6,11,000 in four year.

Biggest anual festival is "sparsh" which is in march or February every year . Biggest technical festival is "mindbend " which is in February. Sparsh is Biggest anual fest if Gujarat and likewise , mindbend is Biggest tech fest of gujarat . Kashsih is the freshers party for first year held in October or November . Thanganat is navratri of svnit. Then shamiyana an two day event . And also we celebrate lohri,janmashtami, ganesh Chaturthi, holi, ramnavmi and many more festivals. There are too many books avaliable in library . I have not bought any book from outside or my own till now. The classroom are too good but not so clean . Sports ground ..basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, kho kho , and many more sports are available. There are clubs for everything malang for dance , raag for singing, designing, literature affair club , kirdaar for drama, akriti for drawing, convex for photography, cinephilla for video making , nirvana for ngo help etc. Ncc and nss are also available here .

Firstly we will talk about admission process.. In 12 th science with A group (pcm) you have to give jee mains exam . Which are conclude twice in year .. first in January and second session in april . On the rank of jee mains you could take admission in nits ,iiits and other Institute. You have to take admission through jossa and afrer that there are two special round of csab . I have applied only for svnit. Because i live in surat and i wanted to go in this college. Overall admission experience was too good and easy enough to understanding. I really like the admission process because it was really very good . There ua even hostel facility in our college which is good but mess food is not good enough.

I think the faculty to student ratio is good . Some faculties are available for all our doubt , they are about our study or may be personal they help in everything. But some faculty are rude , i know that there is 1 or 2 faculty per 50 is rude , they don't help in doubt and all. There are two exams per semester 1) mid semester 2) end semester. Mid sem is of 30 marks and half of syllabus includes. End semester is of 100 marks and converts into 50 mark and include whole syllabus. Result .. 30 mark (mid sem ) + 50 mark (end sem )+ 25 mark (tutorial)+ 10 mark (class test)+10 mark (assignment/test) Paper difficulties are average not too hard or not too easy . They are build on the base of average student . There are about 5-6 students who fail .

There is gym in sports centre for boys and gym in girls hostel for girls is available. Library closes at 10 pm in night everyday and when exams are held it could be open till 2 pm . Hostel intime for first semester is 7.30 pm which is too early , after first semester it increases to 10:40 p.m. There are too many cafe outside the campus .and life in surat is too good . Surat is famous for food and that's true . We love the food in surat. There is dumas beach , gavier lake , vr mall, rr mall and other places are near to college. Lake view garder is beside svnit . Also locality safe is too good here .
