What Students Say

Likes

The campus is fully air conditioned so in summer you don't feel sweaty
The faculty is very nice and kind and all are well educated
The campus is clean and all the stationary items are available there

Dislikes

There is no entry without I'd card so you need to cary your I'd card every time with you
Some things are quiet expensive which are not reasonable at all
So many presentations and projects are given which also a good thing but sometime it feels like burden

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically i personally choose bsc in life science so that i can do msc in any field which i want to like i can do msc in forensic science, neurology, and i can opt dietician i can also go in the teaching line.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for each first and second semester will be 60,000 and for third and fourth semester fees will be 62k or 64k for each semester and the fees for fifth and sixth semester fees will be 66k or 68k for each semester. For the medical microbiology the fees will be around 40k fir each semester. For forensic science fees will be around 80k for each semester

Campus Life

All the books for every subject is present in the central library. The central library also have computers so you can study from them as well. So a fest know as utsav is held every year moslty in February and march. There are so many clubs in every institute so you can choose any one of them. There are MUN and sangathan as well

Admission

Amity is situated in a safe place. Also the companies come here are very good. Also there are so many activities and fests and programs to take participate in. It gives us a lot of exposure. Also the fee for the course is not that much.

Faculty

The faculty is very nice well educated and teaches properly. There are classes from 9 to 5. The exam level is moderate like if you learn the topics properly you will easily score good marks in exam. There are basically 2 exams in one semester. One is mid semester other one is end semester.

Night Life

I'm not a hosteller but hostels are quite good and well maintained and are strict as well. There are so many mess and the mess are quite cheap like the menu starts from 50 rupees only and the food is really yum.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Life Sciences)

Only the top colleges of Du are good and I didn't get addmission in those colleges so i choose amity because it gives a lot of exposure

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

"College life unfiltered: Honest Review and Insights"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

I learnt a lot from this college and from its surroundings as well ,very supportive and good college.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement after Bsc but there is placement after pursuing BCA ,BCom BBA from the same college,the average package is 3lpa ,the companies visited are asra foundation and tata etc . About 80% of students placed in different companies and all got in internships.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. My, one distant relative, also did animation and since he had no job my parents were scared that it would turn out to be my story. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
