Likes
- The things which I like about the college is there campus it is really beautiful and small all the facilities are available like gym, swimming pool, dispensary, mess and it's really safe.
- The faculty is also very good they are highly qualified.
- There's a mandir inside the campus which brings positivity in the campus.
Dislikes
- There is no sitting area for parents. No waiting hall for them to sit and take rest
- Parents are not allowed inside the hostel.
- The hostel fees is really high according to the facilities and they do not switch on the ac during day time in the room during summers.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is regular exams and no postponements unnecessarily. The college has well equiped labs and there is a great support from all the faculties and there is an international Conference which happens every year in the month of January.
Placement Experience
The placements are average in this college but last year some students got really good placement from Amazon with a package of 35 lacs per annum and average package of this college is 5 lacs per annum. The students become eligible from 3rd of college for placements. Companies like Amazon, Nestle and other mass recruiters like wipro, infosys come for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees of the cpurse is 6 lakhs per annum and the other fees includes is of jaypee youth club of 700Rs . There is no scholarship for any students. It also includes hostel , cafeteria, gym. And there is a management quota for students named NRI quota.
Campus Life
There's an annual fest named Impressions organised every year in the month of February. There are several hubs in the college for dance, music, drama, and sports named Nrityang, surkhaab, MMV, Thespian and jaypee football club. There's an anti ragging cell also I the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room we get js shared by two people for all the four years. One roomate is allotted in the starting only but you can change the room mate. The rooms are well furnished with a table almirah and a bed and rooms are airconditioned. Mess, gym, swimming pool are included in the hostel.
Admission
This is college was suggested by my uncle who had studied from the other branch in solan. This college is considered one of the best when it comes to biotechnology. It has all the facilities. The companies also come for recruitment in this field. Hence I chose this college. The admission in Biotech branch is through merit based.
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified -olding phd degrees. They are really helpful when it comes to academics they also help you with competitive exams preparation also or any personal issues also. There are three exams every semester T1, T2, T3. The first two exams are of 20 marks and the third exam is of 35 marks. The difficulty level is moderate.
Interview Experience
There was no admission test for the admission in biotech course I got admission on the basis of merit. But for other btech courses the admission is based on jee percentile and merit based. There is no scholarship for any student and no interviews.
Night Life
There's a gym, two cafeterias, a library in the campus. There's also a basketball court and an auditorium. There is a seperate girls and boys hostels. The in time for girls in the hostel is 10pm and inside campus for boys and girls is 9pm . There's no in time for boys in the hostels. The campus is overall safe you can roam anywhere. The PDA is not allowed inside campus anybody who gets caught is charged fine for that.
