Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is really good an is completly focused on the courses which are going to be dominating the future. The classes contain many real world problems solving projects and a good research is always going with a great funding to solve the real world problems. There is a quiet good frequency for exams which is around 2 weeks so we should always be focussing on the syllabus going on in the class. If there are any aspects in which students feel that they need improvement in, there is a feedback taken after every course and made sure that it is corrected immediately.

Internships Opportunities

4

Adobe Research and Samsung Research are offering quiet good internships with a average stiphend of around 50000 per month. I still I am my 2nd semister so did not get into any interships yet and hence have no knowledge regarding the projects on which the internships are given.

Placement Experience

4

From the 4 th semister students can apply for internships and quiet good amount of people get selected with an average salary of around 80000 per month for the internships. Campus placements are at the end of 3 rd year and over 95% of the applied people get placed and in 2024 placement drive the department of AI had a average pacakge of 31 lakhs per annum. And few people even get into higher studies such as Phds . And the compinies visited in the recent drive are samsung research, adobe research, google, microsoft, amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is about 3 lakh rupees including the hostel and mess facilities. The infrastructure and the facilities in the college are top notch and has a great opportunity for a bright future. So the fees is quite affordable and I am really satisfied for the fee they are charging. ST people has a free hostel fee (which is around 60000 yearly). And the economically weaker class has a completely free education. All the below 500 ranks have a complete free education.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is at its best, there are always some fests going around. There are many tech fests like hackathons, inter IITs etc.. and NSS and NCC are given very good priority and even the students in the IITs go to the government schools nearby and teach them and there are Clean India Drives, Walkhatons going on. Our campus has one of the best sports facility alover india spread around many acres. And the library again is at its best and there almpst all the required books and online pdfs available. There are so many clubs which involve cultural and technical aspects. The are clubs that guide you finacially, some for mental health some for culturals and techinical stuff.

Hostel Facilities

4

The students must stay in the hostels and there are 2 people per room in the first and and one person per room in the second year. There are washing machines and hot water available 24/7 but there is no AC facility. The mess food is quiet routine with not much variation but there are always some extras available which are good. I would say that the mess is a 2.5/5. But the responce team is quiet fast for any sort of issue which could be electircal or water problem and there are ambulances always available near the hostels for any kind of emergencies.

Admission

As we are studying in top courses of IITs (Aritificial Intelligence) there is a really tough competition for this course. I have secured aroud 800 rank in JEE Advanced (in open category) which made me get into this college. I always from the round thought of getting into AI because it is the fastest growing sector in the world is going to be the number one until we complete the course and IIT Hyderabad being the first and most experienced college in the whole India offering an undergraduate course for AI it was a first choice for me. I also tried to get into AI in IIT Madras but my rank wasn't sufficient to get there. The admission process begins with a conformation letter from the colloge followed by online document submission and verification and followed by physical verification and there are any rules or forms signed regarding anti-raggaring, harassement, powered vehicle restriction etc..

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ration is 1:14 which is quiet good and the faculty are really good because of there immense research in the field they are teaching and everyone have really good degrees from great universities around the world. Dr.Vidya Sagar is one of the best faculty in AI who is one of the first persons who contributed for the developement of AI around the world. Dr Ganesh is even an excellent faculty how still does alot of projects with students. There are 3 to 4 quizzes a midsem and a endsem and the papers are of quiet good standard. The invigilation or the plagarism check is quiet strict and there are students failed for plagarism and which is considered quiet seriously. Ciriculum in AI is presently focusing on very good topics which are the current boom in the industry.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, the IIT have the toughest and heavy compitions that is faced by over 12 lakh people every year. Maths, Physics and Chemistry are to be mastered upto a really good level. And your rank decides your seat. NCERT would be a great option for chemistry in the mains level but there must be some advanced books to be studied to crack JEE Advanced

Night Life

4

Night life is highly supported in this campu. Libraries are upto 12 in the midnight and cafetarias are open upto 3 in the midnight and there are bus facilities free of cost for every 30 mins for the whole midnight through out the campus. There are no particular hostel timings, you are allowed to roam around any time you want. The cafotaries are obivously the most famous hangout spots

Other Applied Colleges

IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology - [IITM] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical Engineering)

Because AI is having a good boom and we can have great opportunities in the future
