Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good. The curriculum also has some real life useful skills to develop. There will be a mid semester exam for each semester. The mid semester will be conducted for 30 marks and the end semester exam is conducted for 50 marks.
Internships Opportunities
This college provides lot opportunities for internships. Good grades will automatically put you in internships and placements. There clubs like E-Cell where you can meet lot of intellectual people who can help in you developing yourself.
Placement Experience
Students from 6th semester can start to attend the placements. Companies like Amazon, Google etc come here to take the students. The average package for my branch is 11 LPA. The highest package is around 50 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
You should be paying around 1.5 lacs rupees as tution fees per year and it may or may not increase in the upcoming years. You should also pay 57,000 rupees as hostel fees. Hostel is not guaranteed for all students hostels have limited seats and given based on merit. If you have income less than 1 lac per annum your tution would go down to some where 17,000 per year. You can also apply scholarships based on your income
Campus Life
There good amount of fests here. Most of the fests start from January and you can enjoy a lot during the fests and can also become a volunteer and for the events which has lots of benefits. You can join clubs
Hostel Facilities
Firstly there are limited of hostel seats so most of the students have to stay outside the campus. In the first year of B.Tech there are 4 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The food seems okay not bad.
Admission
I applied for almost all other NIT and IIT for ECE and CSE branches.I initially got seat in NIT Agartala in ECE branch, later I got seat in NIT Raipur in ECE branch. I joined from JEE MAINS and I joined this college
Faculty
The faculty is good and you can feel free to express yourself. There will a bit problem with the language because the faculty prefers to teach in hindi rather than english. There will be a midsemester exam in a semester. You can easily pass if just revise the topics that are being told in the weekends
Night Life
Most of the things close at 7 PM. There this no night life here. You can stay out till 9 PM outside. You can go to a lot of malls and parks here. There are just two cafeterias here and there no night canteen here.
