About mechanical carriculam & teaching

Overall remarks is that this is the best college for anyone to groom his career. It will build a plateform for you. And everythins is depend on you that you have to utilize this opprtuinty or not. CSE & IT are topmost branch here. so if you want good package about 14-20 lpa , then you must go for CSE & IT branch. Negative remarks is that admission of new professors in college which are not eligible for here. One most important thing that there is no ragging provision in college. Zero tolerance to ragging.

course carriculam was good and matching with All india Gate exam & IES exam. Every year carriculam is revised and some new intersting subject come like Artificial intelligence. So carriculam is revised as per future techniques.

Yes , many companies come for intern hiring. Basically college will not provide internship , it will create a plateform for you to show your capability. Many student got opportunity for intership. In mechanical stipend is about 25 k per month but in CSE & IT branch , companies are paying 80k to 1lakh per month. Also they will offer PPO as per your skills.

placements & job opportunities are good in this college. But it also depend on branch. If you opt CSE & IT branch , then surely you will get job in 5 CGPI also. But in mechanical , 90% student will get job. So placement will depend upon branch selection. Mostly if you have more than 7 cgpi & good skills , then surely you will get job in every branch. Average package of CSE & IT is 11-13 lpa but in other branch average package is about 6-8 lpa. No doubt comuputer science & IT branch are superb in MNNIT allahabad.

There are two types of event organized in college. 1st technical fest & 2nd cultural fest. IN technical fest, many events have organized which is related to technical growth of a person. For example, you must have seen tom & jerry show on TV. In this Jerry fight witH tom in a sequence of events. like 1st event occur. it lead to second event then it lead to third. like this finally you will hit the target. besides it, car racing ,manufacturing & technical papers are conducted. Classes are arranged for technical discussion & learing. In cultural fest, dance ,poetry , rampwalk and many other show are organized by students. Also you will met with many big stars like chetan bhagat , shivkheda , kumar viswas, farhan akhtar ,shirley setia & enjoy their performacne.

In 2017 , fees was very cheap in MNNIT. I used to pay only 36000 + 24000 total fees per year. 36000 was tution fees & 24000 mess fees. At the end of sem , 6-8k mess fee is refunded to us. But now hike in fee are too much.As per my knowledge , this time in 2019, college tution fees is about 1lakh 20k &mess fee is about 26k per year. But comparision to IIT , it is also cheaper.

Yes , for meritorious student , college have one schollarship of 4000 rs per year. College will not provide any loan for education. For SC & ST student , there is exemption of fees. They may pay or may not pay college tution fees. But at the end of college , they have to pay all the fees.

basketball court , football ground , cricket ground ,lawn tennis , table tennis , carrom ,volley ball all gaming facility is available in this college. Also two gyms are there.One for boys & other one for girls. Net is also available for cricket net practice. Labs are good in other branches but in mechanical , condition of labs was not good. In labs , there are many big equipments like boiler steam engine, aircraft engine but these are not running mode.Equipments are available only for seeing purpose. They are not running. Automobile lab is also there in which you will learn about transmission sytem of cars & steering mechanism of trucks.

hostels is very nice. Room was good and this is funny but room is alloted as per your CPI. so all toppers are in one hostel. there are 5 boys hostels & 2 girls hostels. But you can fill hostel as per your choice. You will get hostel as per your choice if you have good cgpi. There are 4 canteens near boys hostels & one near girls hostels. Food quality in canteen was good also cheap.One canteen open till 3 Am rest upto 11PM.Mess food is also good as canteen runs by student. They decides menu , they manage all the food ,grains ,vegetables etc. So no compromise in quality as well as quantity.

yes , there is facebook groups for alumni. Also college launch a website for allumni. Every allumni is connected through this website and post jobs offer , any important fact or discussion. Allumni network is not so strong right now but college is focusing in that thing and upgrading its network to add all alumnis.

Basically there are two exam in one semester. One mid sem & other end sem. In MNNIT , getting admission is very difficult but after that being pass in exam is very easy. You have to score total 30 marks out of 100. In which 20 marks is given by your teacher as a teacher assessment. So in 20 you will easily get 10-15 marks. So basically Out of 80 marks , you wil have to take only 10-15 marks for passing. 20 marks for mid semester exam & 60 marks for end semester exam is alloted.

For admission, first you have to score good rank in JEE Mains exam. As per your All india rank , you will get branch in this college.In JEE mains counselling process, you have to fill college as per your priority list. Then according to your JEE mains rank, you will get college in 1st round couselling. After that if you want to get better colege ,then go for 2nd round couselling. After that 3rd round counselling , you will get final college of your priority list. If you have get good college but with a bad branch then there is also option for branch sliding after one year. But for that you must have to score good CGPI about 9.3-9.5 in your 1st year.

Old faculty of college is brilliant. Their understanding of subject is strong & concepts are very clear. But some new faculty was not so much good. Their concepts are not much clear. So if you have doubt in any subject , talk to old faculty. They are genious. You may see some politics also in college. The PHD student who is persuing PHD from college also settled in college as a assistant professors. This will degrade the quality of professors as well as ranking of college.
