- Placements problems - Students believe there are less opportunities for placement, such non professional courses
- Library resources - There are still outdated books which may not meet the current academic needs of the students
- Faculty members -Students believe their are still some faculty members who are at fault which hinder the learning process of the students
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.com as a subject as it opens path for various career opportunities like banking, accounting, corporate affairs, financial management . It gives a strong foundation for SSC and UPSC like exams . It's helps in Business and Entrepreneurship for students like business management, financial management which helps students to start with new business ideas and opportunities. Comparing to other degrees b.com is considered affordable and less - stressful . I would like to suggest to open more practical experiments and Internships for students so that they can gain more of field knowledge which will help them in long run . The exams are conducted in two shifts Depending on the exam The exams is most of the duable for a lots of students
Internships Opportunities
There are opportunities where we can go internship during our summer holidays for work place experience. But sadly Lu doesn't provide any intership opportunities for non professional courses . But if student want they can surely join outside the college . Courses do provide with the projects we do during our last year under proper guidance
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees was 15000 /- every semester as I was a student from self - Finance department. Yearly I paid around 30000/- . Every student of self - finance department pays the same fees . Scholarship are available for students
Campus Life
Sanskriti Saurabhi held in University of Lucknow held by cultural and sports team is held on the occasion of University's flagship cultural and literary festival . Featuring events such dancing, singing and fashion show
Admission
Firstly I applied for University of Lucknow I got through it by appearing for an entrance exam I applied in National PG Girls college and Awadh Collegiate Girls college both of are affiliated by University of Lucknow. I made through both of the colleges ,but since I secured seat in LU 1 st , I choose University of Lucknow There were different cutoff for different sections
Faculty
Faculty members of each department are different. Every Professor is well disciplined and serious about the Subject. One on one we can also interact with the teachers for any query we face regarding the subject . I like b.com faculty as the professors are friendly and interactive during the class . Exams are conducted in semesters, which made easier to learn .The even semester were conducted through MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS whereas odd semesters Were conducted through long questions . We also have internal exams of 25 marks and 75 longs questions paper or MCQ. The exams were very easy ,none appeared for back paper or failed . The course is approachable and understanding for students to learn new things.
Night Life
University has library which opened 24/7 for students and faculty. There are many places to visit along side of University for students to hangout and visit with friends and family. Yes the locality is safe for students to roam at night within the campus Even the hostel timing are favourable for students
